Sketch Time at Moving Along With The Times

Morning Everyone

I hope you are all well.  The are lots of cold bugs going around at the moment.  I was ill all last week which is very unlike me.  Feeling a lot better now thankfully.

Today I am back for the new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  We have a sketch for you this time from our gorgeous Hazel:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I recently bought some of the new papers and images from Santoro Mirabelle Collection.  I love the pretty colours and gorgeous images.  I kept it simple because the paper was so pretty.  I added some mulberry flowers, rhinestone sparkler, pearl hear and pearls all from the Hobby House and a touch of glamour dust.  It didn't take long at all to make this card, which is a miracle for me!!

I hope you like it.  Please pop on over to the main challenge blog for more wonderful inspiration!  I hope you can join in this week!

Have a great day

Love and Hugs

Card Ingredients
Stamp/Image - Pursuit of Happiness - Santoro Mirabelle Collection (Trimcraft)
Paper/Card - as above;  Bazill CS;
Other - Butterflies from the paper pack; Mulberry Rose Flowers; Rhinestone Sparkler; Pearls; Pearl Heart;

Inspiration for The Hobby House

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you all had good weekends.  I've been suffering all weekend with a wretched cold and hacking cough which has been a bit miserable :-(  I hope it will start to clear up soon!

Anyway, enough feeling sorry for myself, I am here this morning with some inspiration for you using the gorgeous products from the Hobby House.

I decided to make a guy card, which is quite a challenge for me as I normally don't make guy cards unless I have to!!

Here are the list of Hobby House products with a link back to the store:

Sentiment (from the Mo Manning Card and Bag Making Kit)

The other two products are a Memory Box die called Cityscape Nightline (you can find various Memory Box dies in the store here), and some paper from Echo Park Dots & Stripes.

Remember our current challenge is "Anything Goes" but you must remember to use at least one Hobby House product.  You could win £25 worth of Hobby House products so what are you waiting for!!

Right I am going to get back into bed with a hot honey and lemon drink!

Take care and speak soon

Parchment or Vellum at Moving Along With The Times

Sorry this post is late, blogger having a moment and not publishing!

I hope you are all well and staying safe in this awful weather we are having in the UK.  Will it EVER stop raining.

We have a new challenge over at Moving Along With Times today and our Wendy is the hostess this week, her first time so pop over and leave some love!  She has selected:

"Parchment or Vellum"

I went into a complete panic and left it to the last minute before making my card as I just didn't know what to do!!  When I did start to plan the card I could only find a small piece of Christmas vellum so had to go with Christmas which I have NEVER done in February!  Anyway enough waffle:

I really haven't done this challenge much justice I am afraid.  I used the velum as background paper.  Its very pretty snowflake, sparkly vellum actually.  The topper is from LOTV called Snowy Town.  I have had these for AGES! but I think they are so pretty.  I have attached the vellum to the card with pearl brads from the Hobby House and I have added some ribbon from my stash and some glamour dust.  Quite an easy card which took so long!!

Please pop on over to the challenge blog for some more gorgeous inspiration and I hope you can join us this week!

Take care and I will see you again soon.

Anything Goes at The Hobby House

Good morning all.

This post should have gone out on Saturday but we lost our phone and internet on Friday and have only just got it back today!  I'm not really sure about this living in the country lark! Since we moved in last September we have had about 4 power cuts, lost Internet and phone 3 or 4 times and flooding in the area. I didn't get any of this living in London!

Anyway Saturday saw the start of a new challenge at The Hobby House. Did you see the show on create and craft on Friday? Wasn't it great. Lots of new products which you can find in the online store. The challenge theme this month is:

"Anything Goes"

BUT YOU MUST USE AT LEAST ONE HOBBY HOUSE PRODUCT

Here is my project:

I used one of my many wooden boxes to decorate with all Hobby House products.  Here are the products with a link to the store:

HH Imperial Damask Paper
HH Majestic Damask Paper
Pearl String
Fancy Button
Rhinestone Sparkler
Mulberry Rose Flowers
Silver Book Corners
HH Ladies Large Cameo

I also used a Chestnut Roan Color Box ink pad to ink the edges and the leaves are from a die from Joanna Sheen.

I hope you can pop on over to the main challenge blog to see all the wonderful DT inspiration and I apologise to them that my post is so late!
