Buzzing Betty!

Good Morning All

Back again so soon!  I hope you are all looking forward to your weekend!

In an attempt to find Mr Mojo and to try and start enjoying my crafting again I signed up for some colour classes with the super talented Alyce over at Kit and Clowder.  I am doing the Skin and Hair Class using copics.

I have to say, if you are at all interested in perfecting your colouring techniques then you HAVE to do these classes.  Alyce has worked so hard and produced so much material for each of the classes. I am learning so much and I am enjoying it.  I have only just started though so I hope it will get easier and I will get better as time goes on!!  Also check out their facebook page, there is so much inspiration and a great community there!

So as well as the classes Alyce does the occasional live colour class (she is having one this weekend, check out the facebook page and blog for details) and a few weeks ago she did Buzzing Betty.  I have to admit that I didn't do this live with her but the day after in my own time!!  I have only just made it up into a card:

Its by no means perfect, I need a lot of practice on hair and clothes!  But I am happy with the skin blending!  The image is from Simply B Stamps and she is called Buzzing Betty.  I am afraid I can't remember who the papers are from.  I coloured with copics and there is a list below of what we used.  The purple flower is my new Die-namics Rolled Daisy die.  The other bits are all from the Hobby House.

Did you also notice I have a new watermark and I love it!  It was created by Nikki over at Creative Junkeez.  She was super quick and I would definitely recommend you use her if you want a new watermark!!

OK, I think that is enough waffle from me.  Have a great day and a great weekend!

Love and Hugs

No Image - Moving Along With The Times

Good Morning All!

I hope you are all well.  I am back here today for our new challenge over at Moving Along With the Times.  This week our hostess is the gorgeous Carole and the theme is:

"No Image"

I panicked for about 5 minutes and then remembered a card I had made a couple of weeks ago just using some gorgeous buttons.  Here is the card:

Now the photos aren't great and I did try a few times.  In real life the card is very crisp white and the buttons really pop off.  They are a selection from the Hobby House from the Peach & Green Embellishment Set.  I just added a rub on sentiment and Bob's your uncle.

I hope you can join in with us this week, you need to check out all the inspiration on the challenge blog first though, there are some fab projects!

Have a great day and I will see you again very soon!

I Heard It On The Radio - Moving Along With The Times

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you are all well.  I am sorry that I have been such a terrible blogger recently.  I just don't seem to have the heart to craft/blog at the moment.  I am not sure why.  I am hoping that if I step back from it for a bit I will get the urge again.  I am still keeping busy though, I have taken up my cross stitching again and that whiles away a few hours in the evening.  I am also doing some colouring classes so I hope that will give me fresh inspiration.

Anyway you don't want to hear all my moans and groans!  We are starting a new challenge today over at Moving Along With The Times and our ever gorgeous Hazel is the hostess this week.  Her theme is:

"I Heard it on the Radio"

So its music inspired this week!  Now don't all get mad at me but I have done a Christmas card!!  I know, I know!  I don't normally do any before November at least!!  Here it is:

So its not difficult to guess my song!  "White Christmas"!!  I have used a LOTV Art Pad image which is fro the "Tis the Season" Set 13.  Such a sweet image. I added some glamour dust.  The papers are from Basic Grey called 25th and Pine and the dies are from La La Land - Heart Snowflake and Pretty Poinsettia.

I hope you like it.  Please pop on over to the challenge blog for more gorgeous inspiration and I hope you can join us this week (it doesnt have to be Christmas!!)

Well that's it from me.  Have a wonderful day and I will see you soon.

Love and Hugs
