Make Your Own Embellishments at TLT

Happy Tuesday everyone! 

Back to work today, yuk.  But I do have half a day's leave today which is good.  Am meeting some friends for lunch and thought it would be nice not to have to rush back to work. 

Hope you all had good weekend's.  I went to my mum's for lunch yesterday which was nice.  I also went to check out a new Hobbycraft shop that has opened about 20 mins from me.  Bought a couple of bits (as you do!).

So we have another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  The fabulous Anita is the hostess this week and she would like you all to

"Make Your Own Embellishments"

I have made my own flowers (not very original but I love doing them!)

I used Buttercup - In the Doghouse.  The ribbon, felt and senitment are also all from Ladybug Crafts. This card is a bit of an experiment.  I used my new prisma pencils to colour the image in.  I don't think its great, but this was my third attempt and I couldnt face starting again!!

I love the ribbon and the felt flowers, I really need to buy some more!

Sunny Sunday

Good evening everyone, have you had a nice Sunday?  I have had a lovely afternoon, had a posh lunch at Claridges with a very good friend of mine, to celebrate his birthday. Lots of champagne and lots of food!!

My card today is using another fab image from Pollycraft, this one is from Felicity and Friends - Codi with Flowers which you can get here. Here she is!

 

I hope you are not getting bored with me using the MME paper packs!  I have used lace and felt for the flowers from Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I have just added tiny little buttons to the centre of the flowers and liquid pearls.  To make the flowers I used my Die Namics rolled flower die from Dies to Die For.

Just A Note!

Hey everyone, hope you are all having a cool Saturday.

My day started well as I won last week's challenge over at Sketch Saturday!  Thank you ladies, a lovely surprise!

I have actually used their new sketch for my project today.  I have had a CD tin in my stash which Kerry over at Ladybug Crafts Ink gave me AGES ago!  I have been meaning to do something with it for ages, so I did today!

I used the gorgeous image from Elizabeth Bell for SCACD -Letter to A Friend which I first saw on my fabby blog buddy Mary J's blog, I fell in love with the image.

I used my new MME pack Lime Twist - Happy Go Lucky, I think this is my favourite out of all the new ones! I bought mine from Quixotic Paperie. I made the little notelets with bazzill cardstock and white smooth paper.  The sentiment and the ribbon are both from Ladybug Crafts Ink. I also added little pearls to the corners.

Its Holiday Time at MAWTT!

Happy Thursday everyone!  Nearly the weekend, yippee!!

I used paper from Kaisercraft which I bought from Merly Impressions, this is from the Seaside Collection, you can see the whole range here.  The sentiment is from Ladybug Crafts Ink which comes with the Flip Flop stamp set. Which I was sitting on a beach right now!

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Animals!

Good morning everyone!

Its Totally Ladybug Tuesday!  We have a new challenge for you today which has been set by the fabby Pinky!  She wants to see "Animals" this week.

Well I have to say I found this more difficult than Mary J's orange last week and I hate orange!  I just don't do fur very well!  But I gave it a go and am not too disappointed with the result!

I used Add On Magnum which you can get from Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I added the present from the Add Ons stamp set which I decoupaged on.  I have used MME papers with black bazzill cardstock. 

The card is for my best friend Peter and I am sending it to him from the cats!  He will appreciate it!

SCACD Friends with Heart - Pink, Blue, White

Good morning all!

Monday again, hope you all had great weekends.  Just a quick one from me this morning.  I made a card over the weekend using my new Kraftin' Kimmie Lilybelle stamp.

I used my MME papers and the ribbon is from Ladybug Crafts Ink here (I need to get some more of this!).  I want to enter this card into the SCACD Friends with Heart challenge which this week is Blue, Pink and White.

I also used the sketch at Sketch Saturday as inspiration so would also like to enter into their challenge this week.

I am also entering this card into Make It Monday Inspiration Blog.

Musical Dude!

Good afternoon everyone!

Have you had a good weekend?  They go so quickly don't they :-(, still at least we have a long weekend next week in the UK!  I've been chilling at home today, catching up on my DT projects!

I met some lovely crafters over the weekend and I would just like to welcome Caz and Lisa to my blog! It was great to meet you girls, I haven't bought any pencils yet but will be ordering once I finish this post!!

So my card today is for the Pollycraft Monday challenge which is "Music".  I love the Pollycraft images, they are so cool and great to work with. Here is my card:

I used Ethan Rockstar which you can get here.  I used my new MME paper pack (again!) and I followed the sketch at The Sweet Shop (with a twist which is to make it masculine).

Male Birthday Card!

Hi everyone, I really need to think of some original titles for my posts!  My brain has stopped working tonight!

Anyway hope you are all ok and are having a great weekend.  Its been a gorgeous day here, hope it lasts!  I am chilling out at home tonight with a nice glass of wine!

I am sharing a male birthday card today and got this great image from Pollycraft called Maurice - Ready for Business.

I teamed him up my new MME paper pack and some of my fab SU ribbon.  This card makes me smile and the image looks just like the guy I am sending it too!!

I used some paper from Prima and added some faux stitching, pearls and some glitter on their dresses!  They do look like the best of friends don't they!

TLT - Lets See Some Orange!

Good morning everyone, I hope your week is going ok so far.  Its another Tuesday which means another challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  Today the uber fabulous Mary J wants to see some "Orange" in your projects!

Well orange isn't my favourite colour (thanks Mary!!) but having said that I quite like how my card has come out.

I used Phoebe from the BFF stamps sets which you can get here. Doesn't she look great!  I have glittered her up a bit of course! The presents and sentiment also come with the stamp set which is great.  I used MME papers (I think) which fit the bill perfectly and I added some liquid pearl dots to the centre of the circles. The bunting was free with a magazine.

Just for you!

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all ok and had a good Saturday.  I'm feeling a little under the weather so didnt feel like doing much! 

While I was away last week I won the Fun and Games challenge over at Pollycraft Challenge with this card and was a Featured Friend at SCACD Friends With Heart for this card. I was delighted with these and wanted to thank both DT for this. 

My card for today is below:



I've used the "I'm Not Tired" image from the Swings and Slides 2 set at Pollycraft which you can get here.  I used some more paper from the new MME paper pads, I think they are my favourite!  The ribbon is from SU (also my favourite!)

I used sketch 190 below at Mojo Monday so would like to enter this challenge .

I would also like to enter into the Pollycraft Challenge this week which is Boyz to Men.

Hi There!

Happy Saturday!  Its lovely and sunny here!  Hope you have got lots of lovely things planned for the weekend.  Wasn't blogger naughty yesterday, maybe he knew it was Friday 13th!

Anyway here is my card today:

I've been buying some new craft stash from Quixotic Paperie recently and I've used some of these on this card.  The image is one of the new Elizabeth Bell for SCACD The Peekers and this is Hey Birdy.  She is very cute.  I have also used papers from the new MME paper pack Lime Twist - Happy go Lucky (love this pack!)   I have paper pieced her dress and part of the hat and added some felt flowers, with some glitter and pearls.

I followed the sketch at the Sweet Shop but as usual I am too late to enter!  It is so annoying!  Anyway I would also like to enter into the SCACD challenge 6 which is paper piecing; The House That Stamps Built which is also paper piecing; Scrapbook Sisters - The Birds; Divas by Design which is Anything Goes and finally Crafty Creations which is also Anything Goes.

Two 'B's at MAWTT

Hi Everyone! 

*Sorry this is late, naughty Blogger this morning!*

I am back from Madrid, had a wonderful time, a great City with lots to see and do.  The Royal Palace was stunning and wonderful artwork at the Prado. Lots of sightseeing, tapas and saw some Flamenco on our final night, which was amazing.  A little bit of shopping as well but I didnt go mad! 

So I am back in time for the new challenge at Moving Along with The Times and Brenda has challenged us to use

"Two 'B's"

So there must be at least two things that begins with B on your project. For example, blue, bling, brads, buttons, etc, etc.  Please tell us what you have used when you post your project.  Here is my card:

Another Challenge at TLT

Hi All!

This is a scheduled post and hopefully I will be in sunny Madrid enjoying the sightseeing!!  I hope you are all well and enjoying your week so far.  Its Totally Ladybug Tuesday again and our new challenge has been set by the gorgeous Hayley.  We would like to see:

Great challenge.  I used my new Shoes n' Bags stamp again.  This one is called The Gina and you can get it here.  Here is my card:

The image is not quite straight which I didnt notice until after it had all dried!  I followed a sketch from somewhere but cannot for the life of me remember now!  The ribbon you can also get from LCI here.

Off to Madrid!!

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope you are all well and have had a good week.  Quick post from me today.  I am busy getting ready for my trip to Madrid tomorrow morning!  Looking forward to lots of sightseeing, shopping, tapas and rioja!!  So will be taking a break from blogger til next Thursday!

I was asked me to make a birthday card the other day for their sister and they wanted a funny one.  So I turned to Bugaboo Stamps of course and the fabulous Stella! This one is called Aged to Perfection which you can get here.  They have a fab new website which you should go and check out.

The paper is from Basic Grey - Sweet Threads pack and the ribbon is American Crafts.  I used the sketch at Eat, Sleep, Stamp here but I am too late to enter (as usual!)

Have Some Cake at MAWTT

Good morning all, I hope you are all well.  Another Thursday means another challenge over at Moving Along With The Times. 

We had a massive response last week so thank you to everyone who shared their projects, it was wonderful to see so much inspiration!  I can tell you it was very difficult to pick a winner.  Anyway on to this week and the wonderful Shell has picked the theme which is:

I decided to do a wedding card.  I decoupaged the butterflies on the cake and added lots of glitter which you can't see.  The paper is Laura Ashley and is a very soft colour. The sentiment is from Ladybug Crafts Ink and is actually from the Baby Baby set here. I hope you like it.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Going Dotty!!

Good morning everyone, did you all enjoy your bank holiday weekend?  Its been lovely having two such long weekends!  Don't you think its been such a long time since Easter though?!!

We want to see lots of spots and dots! Here is my creation for this week:

I don't know what this fold is but I did do it all myself!!  I used gorgeous paper from MME, the image is Chatty Nikki which you can get here. I haven't used her very much, she is fun isn't she.  The sentiment was just done on the computer. I've taken inspiration for the positioning of the senitment from my fab teamie Mary J.
