Faffing Around!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Have you ever had one of those weekends where all you do is faff around and not actually get anything done?  That has been my weekend.  I wouldn't mind but I have been waking up early so have had plenty of time to catch up on bits and pieces but just haven't had the inclination to do anything.  Just ended up sitting around doing nothing for most of the time!  I tried to catch up on some DT work but just sat at my desk doing nothing!

The card I am sharing today I did on Friday evening.  I wanted to use another one of my new LOTV images so I used their sketch for their challenge this week.

This looked so much better in my head and really don't like this very much, in fact I did consider not posting it!  The background paper is just too busy, in my head I thought it looked like a garden and that it would create a nice scene!  The image is Fairies on Tiptoe and the paper is from MME So Sophie paper pack. There is lots of glitter on her wings but you can't really tell from the photo!  Anyway, let me know what you think!

That's it from me today.  Enjoy the rest of your day.
Speak soon.

Good morning all.
What a wonderful bright Saturday morning it is here, although quite cold!
I hope you have lots of lovely things planned for the weekend.

I have made a card today for a friend of mine who is going through a bit of an upsetting time at the moment.  I just wanted to send a card to say I was thinking of her.  Here it is:

I wanted to enter the sketch challenge at Quixotic Paperie here.  I have used Elisabeth Bell for SCACD "Letter to a Friend" which I think is a lovely image.  The paper is from Authentique - Uncommon which is my favourite pad at the moment.  Both the image and the paper pack I bought from Quixotic Paperie.  The gorgeous ribbon is from Ladybug Crafts Ink, I love it so much I didn't want to use it! You can get this and lots of other gorgeous ribbon here

I hope my friend likes it, I will pop it in the post this afternoon.

Happy Tuesday everyone.
Hope your week is going well.
Its Tuesday which can only mean Totally Ladybug Tuesday over at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  Our fabulous (albeit slightly insane!) Ladybug Michele (aka Mary Poppins) is our hostess this week!  The challenge is:

"CIRCLES, PINK & CHOCOLATE"

Well I love this colour combination so not to difficult for me!  Here is my card:

I bought Original Nikki in Kerry' recent sale and I have to say I have no idea why I never bought her before!  I LOVE HER!  I glamour dusted her up a bit (of course!) and teamed her with some gorgeous Authentique paper and some Bo Bunny Double Dot.  The flowers are a birthday gift from the fabby Laurie which I coloured with my copics and added some glamour dust (a bit too much I think but oh well!)

I hope you like my card.  The rest of the DT have done some fabulous work so please do stop by the challenge blog here.

Also another reminder about the Stamp of the Month offer.  You can get "Nikki & Buttercup Running in Snow" half price until the end of October!

Warm and Cozy

Hi Everyone

Well another weekend has gone by in a flash.  I haven't got a great week coming up so I am very unhappy the weekend is over already!  Still I had a nice one and the weather wasn't too bad!!

I caught up on some DT projects this weekend but I did have time to make a card "just because"!  I am determined to use more of my LOTV stamps and enter their challenge every week.  So here is my entry for this week:

I am not sure I like the layout of this and I don't like the blue I used for the ice, but apart from that I like the image and the colours!!  The papers are from a Kanban set which my mum gave me, thanks mum!  The LOTV image is called Skating Along. You can't see from the photo but there is a ton of glamour dust on her outfit and the ice!!  The snowflakes are made from my Die-namics die from Dies to Die For.

I also want to remind you of the Stamp of the Month offer at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  You have until the end of October to get this lovely lady at half price.

Anyway I had better get on.  I have a few things to do before SCD and X Factor comes on!  And then Downton Abbey which I can't wait for!

I hope you all had great weekends and will speak to you soon.

Love

ATC Time at MAWTT

Good Morning Everyone
I can't believe its Thursday again already, although I am glad that this week is nearly over.
Today we have another challenge for you at Moving Along With The Times and our lovely Hazel has challenged us to make:

ATC's

ATC's are are small cards measuring 3.5" x 2.5".  You can use them as a topper on a card if you wish.
This is the first time I have made an ATC and I found it more difficult than I thought actually!

I thought I would use my Echo Park 12x12 Paper Pack called Winter Time by Bella Road.  It has lots of little elements in the pack along with the papers which I used on my ATCs. You can't see from the photos but I decoupaged up some of the elements, I added some felt snowflakes, gems and glitter. I used Kraft CS as my base and distressed the edges a bit and then inked up with my chalk box inks. I hope you like them.
We are sponsored this week by "Every Crafts A Pound"
And they are offering this fabulous prize for the winner!
The rest of the DT girls have some fabulous ATCs for inspiration.  Please do go along and take a look.  We look forward to seeing your work!
Have a great day.

Tag It at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Good morning my lovely friends

I hope your week has started well.  We have a brand new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  Our fabulous Pinky has set the theme this week which is:

"Tag It"

We would like to see tags this week, whether they are stand alone tags or tags on cards, whichever you like!  Remember you don't have to use an LCI image but we very much love it when you do!

I decided to make a couple of Christmas tags this week and I have used two new Ruby Christmas images that I bought from Kerry recently.  Here are my tags:

I had a lot of fun doing this.  It is the first time I have made gift tags and if you match it with the card it really makes a lovely gift.  I have used Letter to Santa Ruby and Snow Covered Log Ruby.  (I think Ruby may be my new favourite LCI character!)

I love these images and they are such fun to colour in.  I used some MME Be Merry Paper Pack together with some Bazzill CS.  The lush ribbon is from SU.

I really hope you get time to join in with us this week.  The design team have created some fabulous projects, please pop along here to go and check them out.

I hope you have a great day and I will speak to you very soon!
