New challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World

Good Afternoon Everyone!

What a gorgeous day it is here in London, beautiful warm sunshine.  Everyone seems happier when the sun is out!  Although I think it all ends tonight!

So I am here today for a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World.  This month our challenge is:

"April Showers Bring May Flowers"

So onto my card:

I have used "Willow with Flower Basket" which you can get as a pre-coloured image from the Hobby House here.  I am very stretched for time with packing up for my house move so these pre-coloured images are perfect for me at the moment.  Paper is from Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics.  I have used my brand new La La Land Heart Tree which i LOVE!  The corner die is also from La La Land.  I then just punched out some flowers using a woodware flower punch and finished off with flower gems from the Hobby House.

I hope you are all well and have nice plans for the weekend.  I haven't been feeling very well the last couple of days, I did manage to get into the craft room and relax with some colouring!  I have used a new Uptown Girl image today from Stamping Bella which I got from Quixotic Paperie. Here is my card:

I really enjoy working with these lovely ladies and the sentiment comes with it.  The papers are from Maja Designs - Vintage Spring Basics.  I am not sure the hearts work in the corner but it was too late to move them!  The dies are from Dies to Die For and are Memory Box Precious Hearts and Die-namics Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax.  The flowers and pearls are from the Hobby House.  Just a touch of glamour dust to finish off!  

I hope you like it, I do like this colour combination!

Digi Bells Blog Hop - Little Friends

I hope you are all well.  

I am back today with a new digi release from Elisabeth Bell and a blog hop to celebrate.  The image is an old stamped image which has been brought back to life in digi form.

She is called "Little Friends" and you can buy her now from the Digi Gallery. I coloured her with copics and used my favourite paper from Maja Designs - Vintage Spring Basics (from Dies to Die For).  The paper was so beautiful I didn't want to cover it too much so I just added some lovely ribbon, mulberry flowers and pearls from the Hobby House.  The little charm is also from the Hobby House.  The birdcage die is from my lovely friend Laurie and is from Die-namics called Contempo Cage Die.  Other dies used are La La Land Filigree Corner (from Dies to Die For) and SU Tiny Tags punch.

and we were kindly given some images to use. I have used Star Fairy and teamed her up with new papers from First Edition called New Bloom.  I have coloured her with copics and added some glamour dust and pearls.  I have used my new Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax and Die-namics Photo corners. The mulberry flowers and pearl swirls are from the Hobby House. I think that's it!

Hi Everyone!

Hope your weekend went well.  I managed to get to the craft show at Alexandra Palace on Sunday with mum.  We had a good old catch up and spent some cash, great fun!  It made a change to get out of the house and not doing any packing! 

So today I am here for my post for the Digi Bells. I have used another digi image by Elizabeth Bell and this little lovely is called Apple Bake.  Here is my card:

Because I haven't had a lot of time recently I have used another pre-coloured image.  This is from the Hobby House who are now doing Elisabeth Bell images.  This is from a sheet called Baking with Grandma.  The paper is from Lilybee Design called Double Dutch. I have used my new Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax and added some pearls and mulberry flowers.  I don't think the mulberry flowers really add anything to this card but it was too late to take them off!

Its been a while!

Good Afternoon All!

Well its been a while, am very sorry I haven't been around to see you all.  

I am in the process of selling my flat and have been waiting all week to exchange.  Its still not happened and I have been getting a little stressed!  I have spent most of the last few weekends sorting through all my stuff, packing and doing many trips to the tip!  

So all of this has meant no time in the craft room and when I do, Mr Mojo just seems to have disappeared, maybe he is in one of those boxes I have packed up!  

I was determined to post something today.  I bought a kit from the Hobby House last week and decided to make a card from these elements, you can buy the kit here.  They are so pretty!

The image is pre-coloured and is from Sylvia Zet, from a sheet at the Hobby House called Love Me Do.  The paper is also from Hobby House and is called Love Me Damask and Love Me Spot. I recently bought a dress exactly like the spotty paper!  All the other elements apart from the ribbon is also from the kit (I love the pearl ribbon!)  I added some glamour dust and pearls. 

That is all from me today.  I do have some DT posts for next week so I won't be gone for too long this time!  Will keep you posted on my move!

I have had this image for ages and not used her!  She is the gorgeous Lil' Sweetpea which you can get from Funky Kits here as well as lots of other gorgeous Sugar Nellie images!  Not sure this really works with the Blooming Vine die in the corner!  I was trying to continue the branch she is sitting on through to the dies!  What do you think?!  I do however LOVE the paper which is Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics. I have also used my new Die-namics Fishtail Flags die. The flowers are a selection from the Hobby House.

Get Krafty at Moving Along With The Times

Hope your week is going well.  The bank holiday keeps confusing me this week, I am a day behind!!  Mind you not complaining, short week at work can't be bad!  

Two posts from me today.  The first is for our new challenge over at MAWTT.  Our fabulous Janice is our hostess this week and the theme is:

I went through a phase of using Kraft CS but haven't used it for a while so it was good to use it for this challenge.  Here is my card:

I have however used a pre-coloured image which you can now get from the Hobby House and this image is from My Little Garden sheet.

The papers are from Glitz - Hello Friend and I added some lovely velvet ribbon from my stash.  I have used my new Memory Box Precious Hearts Die and the corner die is from La La Land Filigree Corner.  The sentiment is Stampavie - Sweet Wishes.  Quite a simple card but I like this style!

Heck of a Challenge - GDT

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you enjoyed your Easter Sunday!  The sun managed to come out yesterday which made a change!  Isn't it great that the clocks have now gone forward, lovely light evenings!

My gorgeous blogging buddy Lisa asked me to be Guest DT this month at Heck of a Challenge and of course I said yes!  The theme this month is:

"Water"

I had just bought the perfect image for this challenge and had been waiting to use it!  Here is my card:

The image is Stamping Bella - Uptown Girl Bubbles Loves Bubbly!  There is so much glamour dust on this but you can't see it in the photos!  The gorgeous paper is Echo Park Everyday Eclectic and the sentiment is Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket.  I left the accessories quite simple as the paper was quite busy.  

The challenge lasts for a month, so plenty of time!  The winner will win a £10 gift voucher from Every Crafts a Pound either the online shop or in store.
