New Challenge at the Sugar Bowl

I hope you are well and your week is going ok. 

I am back today with a card for the new challenge at the Sugar Bowl.  I hope you enjoyed the new release and took part in the blog hop!  

Remember the challenge is "Anything Goes" but you MUST use a Sugar Nellie image.  These can all be found at Funky Kits!

 I have used one of the gorgeous new images for my card:

This little darling is called "A Little Bit of Gossip" which I think is out of stock at the moment but check out the rest of the range here. I have used my Vintage Summer papers from Maja Designs and added mulberry flowers from the Hobby House. I have also used my new La La Land Butterfly die.  A touch of glamour dust and pearls to finish.

I hope you had a nice weekend, mine was quite busy on Friday and Saturday and yesterday was just rubbish, but I won't bore you with it!!

I am here today for my inspiration post for The Hobby House.  If you managed to get to the shop for their 10 year birthday on Saturday I hope you had a great time!  

For my inspiration piece I have made a little gift cracker using all the gorgeous goodies from the Hobby House!

It was a little tricky to photograph properly!  I have covered the cracker on each side with paper from First Edition - New Bloom.  You can find a selection of First Edition paper pads on in the HH store here. The image is a pre-coloured image from Wee Stamps and is from the Silver Fairy sheet here. Then I added lots of gorgeous pearls, swirls and ribbon - are full list is here:

The Hobby House Birthday Celebrations - Saturday 22 June

Hi All

No card from me today, just wanted to pop in and let you know that the Hobby House will be celebrating its 10th Birthday with a sale and demo day in store

I am very upset that I won't be able to get there on the day but a few of the Design Team will be!  Pop along and meet them, shop until drop and just have lots of fun!  I have been told that there is a fabulous on-site coffee shop with some gorgeous home made cakes!

Pollycraft Challenge is Back!!

Am dead excited today!

I have used the beautiful "The Story Teller", I loved working with her!  I coloured her with copics and used papers from MME called Gnome Sweet Gnome!  The mulberry flowers are from the Hobby House and I have added some glamour dust, pearls and little punched out butterflies.  The die is from Memory Box called Fresh Foliage.

Flower Fairies

Good Afternoon Everyone

I hope you are all well and had a great weekend.  I am still suffering from a cold which has been hanging around for ages, so I didn't do very much!  

I had time just to colour for fun this weekend which was good as I have been dying to colour up these cute Flower Fairies from Sylvia Zet at Wee Stamps.  Here is my card and tag:

I really enjoyed working with these little beauties and really love the sweet colours!  I used paper from Maja Designs - Vintage Summer Basics and the die is La La Land Filigree Corner.  All the embellishments are from the Hobby House, including pearl ribbon, lace ribbon, mulberry flowers and pearls.

Sunny Weekend

Good Afternoon Everyone

Hope you are all well.  Got back from Marrakech on Wednesday.  What an amazing place. It really is what you imagine it would be like.  I haven't experienced anything like it before!  It was also very hot and it seems I have brought the good weather back with me!  The sun is shining here at the moment and hopefully it will continue into the weekend!  

I am just popping in briefly today to share a card a made using lots of yummy products from the Hobby House.  If you caught the two shows on Create and Craft today you will have seen the Mo Manning toppers which I have used today.  Here is my card:

HOBBY HOUSE - BRAND NEW CHALLENGE BLOG!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!

This is a scheduled post so I hope it publishes ok!  Especially as its a very exciting day!

The brand new Challenge Blog at the Hobby House is launched today!!  YIPPEEE!!

So onto the challenge!  As its our first one the theme this month is:

"Anything Goes"

Easy!!  And because this is our first challenge you can enter as many times as you like and you DON'T need to use Hobby House products!  The winner will receive £25 gift voucher to spend at the Hobby House!!! 

Here is my first creation:

It was a little tricky to photograph this one!  Basically its an envelope box which I have covered inside and out.  All the products I have used are from the Hobby House (apart from the paper and the box) and these are all listed below.  I used two of the images so that I could decoupage up her wings and have added loads of glamour dust for extra sparkle!!  I love this image and these colours are my favourite too!
