HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY - MAWTT!!

Morning Everyone!

Well its a special day over at MAWTT today.  Its our 5th birthday and to celebrate we are offering lots of fun and surprises!  I just wanted to say special thanks and congratulations to our leader Hazel who works so hard to keep the challenge blog exciting for everyone!

I have used the Cupcake Girls topper sheet from Mo Manning and teamed it with Cherry Flower and Cherry Flower Hobby House papers.  The embellishments are from the Springtime Embellishment Set.  I then just added a touch of glamour dust and my heart banner from La La Land.

Summer Sweetness at The Hobby House

Hi Everyone

I am a little late posting this, today is just flying by!!   I have another inspiration piece for you using products from the Hobby House.  We are sill show casing the Ready to Colour Art Books.  Here is my card:

I have used the Elisabeth Bell - Summer Sweetness book.  She is coloured with copics and the paper is by MME Happy Day. The embellishments are from the Raspberry Cream Embellishment Set.

Summer Daze - Inspiration at the Hobby House

Good Morning Everyone!

Yipppeee its the weekend!  I hope you all have something nice planned. I think it might be a lazy one for me, relaxing in the garden, watching the world cup (particularly the England game tonight!) and maybe some crafting in between!!

I have some more inspiration for you today for the Hobby House.  I have used another image from the new Ready to Colour Art Books and this one is from the Elisabeth Bell - Summer Daze.  

He is coloured with copics and I have teamed him with papers from Echo Park called Splash by Bella Road.  The dies are Lil Inker Stitched Rectangle, Die-namics Photo Corners and La La Land Cloud/Sun Set.  The gold gems and polka dot ribbon are also from the Hobby House.  

The quality of these Art Books are really good.  I used a LOT of ink doing the sea background and there was hardly any bleed through or warping of the paper.  I used a tutorial from Deborah at Deborah's Shining Cards to do the sea background and I am quite pleased with the result seeing as it was my first time!!  Its a great tutorial!

Clean and Simple at MAWTT

Hi All!  

Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine!  I am off to a concert at Hampton Court tonight which is all outdoors so I am so happy the weather is good!!  

I am back today with my card for the new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  Our gorgeous Hazel is the hostess this week and the theme is:

"Clean and Simple"

I was scared for a bit!  And then I knew I just wanted to colour up a lovely image and make that the feature.  Here is my card:

 The gorgeous image is from Simply B Stamps and is called All Polished Up Betty.  She is coloured with copics.  I used my Lik Inker Stitched Square and just layered that onto a pink piece of Bazzill to match the outfit.  The sentiment came with the image.  I then just added some pearls.  The sharp eyed of you out there will notice that I forgot to do the earring!  I have since added a pearl so it looks ok now!!

I actually really enjoyed making a CAS card and you may be seeing a lot more like this!!
