December Birthday - Moving Along With The Times

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick one from me today.  Busy old week.  We have a new challenge over at Moving Along With The Times and this week our Kelly has challenged us to:

"December Birthday"

I wasn't quite sure what to do for this but in the end thought I would go for wintery colours!  Here is my card:

I didn't have time to colour up an image this week so I used one of the fabulous pre-coloured toppers from the Hobby House.  This is from the Wee Stamps sheet called Hopeful.  I teamed her up with some papers from Maja Designs and I think its the Vintage Summer Basics, but they are all mixed up together so am not sure!  I used some shabby blue frantage around the image (still trying to get used to this!)  I also added some glossy accents to the blue with a sprinkle of glamour dust.  The flower is also from the Hobby House and is gorgeous!

I hope you can pop on over to the challenge blog to see all the wonderful projects from the DT team and I hope you can join us this week!

Ok, that's it from me.  Have a wonderful day!

Love and Hugs

We have a new challenge starting today at Moving Along With The Times and our Hazel picked the theme which is:

"Celebrate Kindness"

Its World Kindness Day today so its a lovely challenge to celebrate this.

I decided to go for a thank you card and here it is:

I coloured this lovely lady a while ago as part of one of the Kit and Clowder Live Classes.  She is called Flower Girl from Whimsy Stamps.  She is coloured with copics.  I kept the card simple with some pretty paper, some pearls and ribbon from my stash. The sentiment tag is from Stamping Up.

Please pop on over to the main challenge blog for some more gorgeous inspiration!

That's it from me today.  Have a lovely day and I will see you soon!

White Only Christmas at MAWTT

Hi Everyone!

I am here this morning with my card for the new challenge over at Moving Along With The Times.  Our hostess this week is Wendy and she has challenged us to:

"White Only Christmas"

I really have trouble doing "white" cards!  I always want to add a little colour somewhere so I did struggle with this one a bit!  Anyway here is my card:

I have terrible problems taking photos of white cards so these aren't great, and the card is much whiter in real life!  I just out a piece of bazzill texture cardstock with my Lil Inker Stitched Square Die.  I then used my new La La Land dies with sparkle card stock.  The dies are Christmas Hill Border and Snowflake Banner (you will be seeing these a lot of the next few weeks!!)

I then just added some pearls and the sentiment is from LOTV Christmas Set 75

Please pop on over to the main challenge blog and take a look at the other gorgeous cards.  I hope you can join us this week!

Have a great day!  I have got half day's leave today and meeting mum for lunch!

Hedgehogs at Moving Along With The Times!

Hi Everyone!

I am late this week with my card for Moving Along With The Times!  I just got confused with my days!!  Our gorgeous Janice is the hostess and her theme is:

"Hedgehogs"

When I stopped panicking I realised there are lots of gorgeous Hedgehog images around and I found an old Penny Black image that I have had for AGES!  Here is my card:

The image is called Hedgehog Bouquet and I decided to keep it simple. I really love this style and I will be doing some more simple style going forward. What do you think?

I just layered onto Bazzill CS.  I coloured the image with copics and added some glamour dust and little flower gems.  The little butterflies are from my Tonic punch and the sentiment is Whimsy Stamps - Friendship Ticket Sentiments.

Well that's all from me!  Pop on over to the main challenge blog more some more cute little hedgehogs!!

Have a nice evening and I will see you soon.

Vintage at MAWTT

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all well and enjoying your week.  Its been a bit mixed weather here!  Not sure whether it wants to be sunny or rain!  We were lucky over the weekend though with my nephew, it stayed sunny when it needed to and we had a lovely time!!

I am back this morning with a card for our new challenge over at Moving Along With the Times.  Our fabby hostess is Hazel (although she is not so fabby today for picking Vintage!!!)

I did have trouble with this.  In the end I found an image within the new Maja Designs paper pad called Vintage Frost Basics, which I LOVE by the way!  Here is the card:

I am sorry it is such a poor excuse for a vintage card!  As I said the image is from Vintage Frost Basics as is all the paper.  Its a wonderful paper pad.  I just added some of my precious SU ribbon and added a snowflake charm and pearls from the Hobby House.  The sentiment is from LOTV Christmas Wishes set 75.

If you want to see much nicer vintage cards please pop on over to the main challenge blog!  Hope you can join us this week.

Have a great day!

No Image - Moving Along With The Times

Good Morning All!

I hope you are all well.  I am back here today for our new challenge over at Moving Along With the Times.  This week our hostess is the gorgeous Carole and the theme is:

"No Image"

I panicked for about 5 minutes and then remembered a card I had made a couple of weeks ago just using some gorgeous buttons.  Here is the card:

Now the photos aren't great and I did try a few times.  In real life the card is very crisp white and the buttons really pop off.  They are a selection from the Hobby House from the Peach & Green Embellishment Set.  I just added a rub on sentiment and Bob's your uncle.

I hope you can join in with us this week, you need to check out all the inspiration on the challenge blog first though, there are some fab projects!

Have a great day and I will see you again very soon!

I Heard It On The Radio - Moving Along With The Times

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you are all well.  I am sorry that I have been such a terrible blogger recently.  I just don't seem to have the heart to craft/blog at the moment.  I am not sure why.  I am hoping that if I step back from it for a bit I will get the urge again.  I am still keeping busy though, I have taken up my cross stitching again and that whiles away a few hours in the evening.  I am also doing some colouring classes so I hope that will give me fresh inspiration.

Anyway you don't want to hear all my moans and groans!  We are starting a new challenge today over at Moving Along With The Times and our ever gorgeous Hazel is the hostess this week.  Her theme is:

"I Heard it on the Radio"

So its music inspired this week!  Now don't all get mad at me but I have done a Christmas card!!  I know, I know!  I don't normally do any before November at least!!  Here it is:

So its not difficult to guess my song!  "White Christmas"!!  I have used a LOTV Art Pad image which is fro the "Tis the Season" Set 13.  Such a sweet image. I added some glamour dust.  The papers are from Basic Grey called 25th and Pine and the dies are from La La Land - Heart Snowflake and Pretty Poinsettia.

I hope you like it.  Please pop on over to the challenge blog for more gorgeous inspiration and I hope you can join us this week (it doesnt have to be Christmas!!)

Well that's it from me.  Have a wonderful day and I will see you soon.

Happy Times at MAWTT!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week has gone well and you are looking forward to the Easter weekend break.  I always love the Easter break, I love that Spring is here and flowers are out, and hopefully we can look forward to some sunshine!

I am here today for the new challenge over at Moving Along With the Times!  Our gorgeous Judith is the hostess this week and the theme is:

"Use the word HAPPY"

Simple enough right!  I have actually used a die which was free in a recent magazine which I thought would be perfect for this challenge:

The colours in the photo aren't great but the purple's are much more vibrant.  I used some textured bazzill cardstock and added some embellishments from the Hobby House including Mulberry Rose Flowers and pearls.  Simple enough!

I hope you can pop on over to the challenge blog to check out all the inspiration and I hope you can join us this week!

Have a wonderful Easter and hopefully I will see you soon!
