Favourite Five of 2012 & Happy New Year

Hi Everyone

I can't believe its New Year's Eve already.  The last few days have just flown by.  Do you have any plans for tonight?   I am staying at home with some DVDs and a glass or two of champagne!

I wanted to join in with Debby's Favourite Five of 2012 as my last post for the year.  Its really interesting going back over the year and seeing how much you style has changed or improved!!  Here are my favourite five:

I joined the Elisabeth Bell Digi Bells design team this year and I have chosen a couple of her gorgeous images for my top 5.  Here is the first using "Picked Sweet", the original post is here

I fell in love with Saturated Canary images in 2012 and here is a card using "Pricilla Pie", the original post is here

As well as joining the Elisabeth Bell team this year, I was also very excited and honoured to be asked to join the Sugar Bowl sweeties.  This was my first card as part of the design team, she is called "Delia" and the original post is here

This is my second Elisabeth Bell image and she is called "Pati's Kisses" and the original post is here.

For my final card I have decided to pick an image from Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I very sadly left the design team this year but they hold a very special place in my heart as it was one of my first design teams that I joined!  This is a card from January and I think my colouring has improved so much since then.  But she is one of my favourite LCI images and she is "Original Nikki" and the original post is here

I hope you enjoyed my little trip down memory lane!

So all that is left is for me to say Happy New Year to you all.  Lets hope that 2013 is a peaceful and healthy one for us all.

Thank you all so much for your support and visits during 2012.  It wouldn't be the same without you all!

A few more Christmas cards

Good Afternoon Everyone

Well, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Day.  Mine was lovely, nice and relaxing with lots of lovely pressies and a very tasty Christmas dinner!  I am making the most of the time now just to relax and potter about.  I can't face the sales but may have a look online which is much more pleasant!

I was given some craft vouchers for Christmas and thought I might buy some new dies.  It would be great to hear what your favourite die is or what you use more than any other, just to give me some ideas of what to go for!

Anyway, I thought I would post some cards that I didn't get a chance to show you before Christmas.  They were made using pre-coloured sheets from the Hobby House and LOTV.  I hope you like them:

I think these pre-coloured sheets are great to use when you have a few cards to make, which is ideal at Christmas. I do feel a little like I was cheating though!  All the cards are made using papers from LOTV and I have added glamour dust and gems, together with various dies from Memory Box and Die-namics.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Favourite Five Christmas Cards 2012

Happy Christmas Eve!
Its getting exciting!!  Santa is on his way!

The gorgeous Debby is doing her favourite five Christmas cards again this year so I thought I would join in!

Having gone through all of mine I realised that I made loads but didn't have time to post them all!!  Anyway, I managed to get five that I like so here they are (in no particular order!) (click on the photo for the original post):

The first one is using my first ever Magnolia stamp!  Love this image and loved to colour it up.  Great colours on this one too.

My second one is using one of the gorgeous Sugar Nellie images, love the Kraft and snowflake paper

Next one is a cracker I made using an Elisabeth Bell digi image.  I really enjoyed making this one and one of the few that I made using traditional colours!

Next one is using one of my favourite stamp ranges but never get around to using many of them, which I am going to change next year!  This is using Stamping Bella.

And the last one is using another Elisabeth Bell image and I like this one just because it was wonderful to colour!

I hope you enjoy seeing these again.

I hope you are enjoying your Christmas Eve!  I am going to settle down and watch "Its A Wonderful Life" and maybe "White Christmas" with a nice glass of wine and maybe tuck into some Christmas chocolates!

Whatever you are doing have a wonderful evening!
