Christmas Tin

Good Morning Everyone

Its a lovely sunny, blue sky this morning as I sit and look out my window.  Always makes you feel better!  Well after a very stressful week we finally exchanged contracts on the house last night.  I can now start to get excited about the new house!

I wanted to share a project I made for the Hobby House show on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago.  (It was actually featured on the show!!)  My other half was given a tin of handmade cookies for his birthday and I saved the tin they came in and altered it into a Christmas tin for chocolates or gifts.

It was very tricky to photograph but you get the idea!  The chocolates went in afterwards!

The papers are Echo Park - Merry Christmas collection.  The dies are Doo Hickey's Leaf and Swirl and my Grand Nesties Scalloped Circles.  The rest of the products used are from the Hobby House and are listed below:

Mo Manning Christmas Fairies - Pre-coloured Topper;

Remember the Christmas challenge on the Hobby House challenge blog if you want to join in!

I would like to enter this into the Red & Green Challenge at Winter Wonderland.

Well that's it from me today.  Have a great day and I will see you soon.

A few more Christmas cards

Good Afternoon Everyone

Well, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Day.  Mine was lovely, nice and relaxing with lots of lovely pressies and a very tasty Christmas dinner!  I am making the most of the time now just to relax and potter about.  I can't face the sales but may have a look online which is much more pleasant!

I was given some craft vouchers for Christmas and thought I might buy some new dies.  It would be great to hear what your favourite die is or what you use more than any other, just to give me some ideas of what to go for!

Anyway, I thought I would post some cards that I didn't get a chance to show you before Christmas.  They were made using pre-coloured sheets from the Hobby House and LOTV.  I hope you like them:

I think these pre-coloured sheets are great to use when you have a few cards to make, which is ideal at Christmas. I do feel a little like I was cheating though!  All the cards are made using papers from LOTV and I have added glamour dust and gems, together with various dies from Memory Box and Die-namics.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

GDT at Paper Crafting Journey

Good Morning one and all!!

I hope you are all well and enjoying your week!  The weather has been pretty rubbish here in London, wish I was still on holiday!!

I am Guest Designer over at Paper Crafting Journey this week thanks to the lovely Wendy who asked the Digi Bells DT if we wanted to join in!

We had to use an Elisabeth Bell image so how could I refuse!!  The challenge this fortnight is to case one of the DT's card.  Here is my project:

I have used the beautiful Letters to Santa which you can get from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Gallery.  I bought some pre-scored twisted easel cards from Every Crafts a Pound when I was up North in October.  It took me about 10 minutes to work out how to fold it even though it was already scored!!!  Anyway, I do like the effect and will do some more for Christmas.

I have used papers again from LOTV - Frosty Christmas  The snowflake and metallic ribbon are some more new stash from the Harrogate show and the snowflake charm was from my stash.  Finished off with loads of glamour dust as usual!!

I hope you can join in this fortnight.  Please pop on over to the challenge blog to see more inspiration and I hope you feel inspired to Case one of the cards!

Have a great day!

Frosty the Snowman!

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Have you got anything nice planned?  I guess I am going to have to start thinking about Christmas shopping soon!  I try to do as much as I can online as the shops are a nightmare!

I have however started making some Christmas cards and here is another for you today using another Elisabeth Bell digi image.  This is called Frosty the Snowman!

This is a great image to colour in, I had a lot of fun.  I used my copics and polychromos for the image.  The papers are my new LOTV Frosty Christmas and Krafty Christmas paper packs (you will be seeing a lot of these over the next few weeks!)  I also used my new frosty border die which is my new favourite thing!! I then just added gems and glamour dust.

You can see lots more inspiration on the Digi Bells blog using all the gorgeous Elisabeth Bell digi images!  And don't forget to join in the blog hop as well (see my post yesterday).
