Digi Bells Blog Hop!

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY WAGS 'N WHISKERS POST

Hi Everyone!  Me Again!

I am here today as GDT for the Digi Bells and its an exciting day as we have a brand new digi release from the gorgeous Elisabeth Bell, and we are celebrating with a blog hop!

The gorgeous new image is called "Apple Bake" and you can get her from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.

You should have arrived from the super talented Mary Lou, if you do get lost then hop on back to the Digi Bells DT blog and start there.  Here is my card:

Don't you think she is just the gorgeous thing ever!  And look at the cute little kitty!  I wanted to create a kind of "home kitchen" feel with my card but not sure it really worked!    Isn't it annoying when something in your head doesn't work out on paper!  Anyway I have used some gorgeous digi papers from Raspberry Road called Apple Cinnamon.  I coloured her with copics and prisma pencils.  The ribbon is from my stash.  The background paper actually has an apple bake receipe on it but you can't see it!

So you now need to hop on over to the fabulous Alethea!  Don't forget if you get lost just pop over to the Digi Bells blog and start there. I hope you have a lot of fun!  I am off to do the hop now myself!

You have until 9am (Arizona Time) on Friday 29 June!  Enjoy!

Love and Hugs

Double Trouble at LCI

Good Morning All

I hope you are well today!  I am off to Ascot tomorrow with some friends, I have never been before so it will be something new to experience! I have an outfit that I wore to Henley last year, I hope it still fits!  I will make sure that I get a photo so I can post it here later in the week.  I also hope the weather plays nice!

Anyway, onto today's business first which is another challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  The gorgeous Laurie has picked our theme which is:

"Double Trouble"

So we want to see pair's on your card!  Here is my project:

I am sorry about the poor quality of photos.  The image just looks blurry to me and I must have taken it about a dozen times.  Anyway, the image is called Shopping Jess which is part of the new Teenagers digi collection.  My other "doubles" on the card are two DPs, two flowers and two pearls in each corner.   Laurie used a bow like this on her card here the other day and this inspired me to use my lovely ribbon to do the same.  I am so tight with this ribbon, I never use it!  The paper is from MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up and the border punch inside is from Doo Hickey.

Hop on over now to see the rest of the DT's wonderful inspiration.  Enjoy your day and I will see you on Thursday for the start of the Moving Along With The Times 3rd Birthday celebrations!

Picture Pose

Good Afternoon!

Are you enjoying your Sunday afternoon?  I have had a nice lazy day so far, the sun is sort of out which is nice too!

I made another card today "just because"!  Not for any Design Team!  Its another Sugar Nellie image and this time its from Krista Smith called Picture Pose which you can get from Funky Kits here.  I followed the sketch at the Sugar Bowl and this is what I came up:

I followed the sketch and added some extra flowers!  I have had this lovely image coloured up for months and not made her up, so I thought it was about time! The papers are from MME - Miss Caroline - Dolled Up.  I just added some glamour dust and gems, and ribbon from my stash. I hope you like her!

That's it from me for now, enjoy the rest of your afternoon!

Sugar Nellie

Hi All.
I hope your weekend went well.  The weather didn't really improve did it.

When I started the year I made a resolution to use images and make cards "just because" and not for any DT work (which, don't get me wrong I do still enjoy!)  The year started off well but somehow has slipped again so I am trying to make more of an effort again now!  One of those that I wanted to use more of and enter more of their challenges was at the Sugar Bowl using Sugar Nellie images. So I coloured up an image over the weekend for this week's sketch challenge.  Here is my card:

This gorgeous little thing is called Charlotte and you can get her at Funky Kits here.  She is absolutely shimmering in glitter but you can't see it from the photos!  I had a lot of trouble finding some paper that was Violet or had shades of this colour, which is odd as it is one of my favourite colours!  I've used some more of my Mulberry Flowers again, from the Hobby House here.  I know I am late to the party with these but I am loving using them!

I gave the corners some detail with my corner punch, which I don't think I like really but it was too late to change it!  I also used my butterfly punches which I am also still loving.  The ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you like her, I certainly enjoyed colouring her up!

OK, that's it from me for now.  Have a great day!
