Glimmer, Shimmer & Shine at Elisabeth Bell!

Me again!  We have a brand new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World today and the theme this month is:

"Glimmer, Shimmer & Shine"

Everyone's favourite right!! 

Here is my card:





Now I know you can't see the glitter and shimmer very well but believe me she is shimmering to within an inch of her life!!  I have added glamour dust to the hat, flowers and all the background papers.  The image is of course Happy Mail from Belles 'n Whistles.  I love colouring her!  The paper is Double Dutch - Lily Bee Design, which is gorgeous.  I have added flowers which my gorgeous friend Laurie gave me from my birthday.

I loved making this card!  The cute image is from Pixie Dust Studio and is called Pixie Boo which you can get here.  How cute is she!!  I teamed her up with some fabulous digi papers from Shery K Designs.  These were free and you can get them here.  Love them!

Wet, Wet, Wet - Sugar Bowl DT

I have used another Home Grown Manga image and she is called April Showers which you can get from Funky Kits here. I teamed her with some lovely papers from Echo Park Hello Summer collection.  I added some pearls which of course is the rain coming down!  I hope you like her!

This is my first scheduled post. I am hopefully chilling by the pool with attentive waiters bringing an endless supply of cocktails!! 

Today is another challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  Our gorgeous Hazel is our hostess this week and the theme is:

I did struggle with this a bit but I hope you get the essence of Alice in Wonderland! I used Queen of Hearts which came from the Alices Wonderland Digital Collection which you can get here.  I teamed her with some Echo Park Dots & Stripes Metropolitan collection, the playing cards are just from the computer as is the sentiment.

Tag It! at MAWTT

Morning Everyone!

2 more sleeps and I am jetting off to the sunshine.  Can you tell I am excited!  Cannot wait!  I won't keep going on about it though!  I will schedule some posts for when I am away so you won't have time to miss me! 

Today we have a brand new challenge at Moving Along With The Times and I am the hostess this week.  My challenge this week is:

"Tag It"

So any kind of tag or a tag on a card.  We are sponsored this week by "Stitchy Bear Stamps" and we were kindly given some images to use this week.  Here is my tag:




The image is "In the Meadow We Can Build a Snowman" which you can get here.  I used the pre-coloured image.  You also get some matching papers with this kit which I have used with some bazzill cardstock.  The snowflake border is from Martha Stewart and the snowflakes are a Die-namics die called Let It Snowflake.  I have added loads of glamour dust and pearls!  With some ribbon from my stash.

I Love You This Much!

Hi Lovely Ladies!

I hope you are all well.  

I am counting the hours this week!  Need to get to Saturday and then its off to the sunshine for 2 weeks!!  Can't wait!  

I am here with you today to share some more inspiration from the Elisabeth Bell Digital collection.  Today I have used - I Love You This Much - which is one of my favourites of the digital images!  Here is my project:





The photos look a bit blury, I hadn't noticed that before now!!  I teamed her up with paper from MME - On the Bright Side.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Friendship Tickets and thought this sentiment was great with this image.  The flowers are Mulberry and I just added glitter and pearls.

Winner of Blog Candy


Morning Everyone!

Well I made it to Yorkshire!  Met up with the lovely ladies last night and had a great evening!  It was fabulous to finally meet up with Claire and Debs, they look just like their photos!!  And of course Laurie and Lisa who are as entertaining as ever!  Although poor Laurie is suffering with flu so hope she feels better today!  

We are off today for a crafting afternoon, that is once Lisa has fed us with a cooked breakfast!  I should be getting ready now!

Time for a new sketch at the Sugar Bowl

Another circular card.  This time I have used papers from First Edition called Boho Chic.  The image is called Dreamy from the Home Grown Manga range at Funky Kits.  The little swirl is my Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourish and I have just added some pearls.  The flower was in a pack from the gorgeous Laurie, as part of my birthday present!

In The Dark at MAWTT!

Good Morning Everyone!

Its been a while since I've been on here!  Where does the time go!  I am so excited, only 2 more sleeps and I will be off to Yorkshire to meet up with Laurie, Lisa, Claire and Debs, my teamies from MAWTT!!  I CANNOT WAIT!!  Will also be meeting up with other blogging buddies over the course of the weekend!

THEN, I am off on my hols!  Two whole weeks in the sunshine!! 

Anyway, I must calm down and get down to business!  We have a brand new challenge at Moving Along With The Times today.  The gorgeous Lisa is our hostess and the theme is:

"In The Dark"

So use lots of dark colours or anything that come out in the dark!

I'm not really into Halloween as much as our Lisa is but I did enjoy doing this card!  I decided to do a circular card, I inked up the edges with a black chalk pad.  The papers are from MME Mischievous and the bats are printed from the PC.  I added some black pearls and I used my Cheery Lynn Colonial Lamp Post again.
