New Challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all well.  Did you have a good weekend?  I had a relaxing one, it was so cold I just tried to stay warm the whole time!  

Today we have a brand new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World and we have a sketch challenge for this month:

I have just realised that I have missed a layer on the sketch, oops!  Moving swiftly on!  I have used the pretty Patches 'n Braids from Belles 'n Whistles.  The gorgeous paper is from Bazzill Basics  - Vintage Marketplace.  I really like the pink and green colour combination in this pack.  I have added some glamour dust, mulberry flowers, pearl and little punched out butterflies. A really girly card!

Sketch Time at MAWTT

I am back today as part of Team A over at Moving Along with The Times with a brand new challenge.  Our fabulous Shell is the hostess and she has given us a great sketch. I love working with sketches and this one is great to use.

I have used a pre-coloured image called Johnny Bird Boots.  Isn't he such fun!!  I wanted to use fresh, spring colours with him and I thought my new Echo Park - So Happy Together pack was perfect.  I added some little buttons from my stash and a little bit of glamour dust!

Morning All!

I hope you had a great weekend.  At least the sun shone for part of it which was lovely!  

I am back today with my project for the Digi Bells using another of Elisabeth Bell's gorgeous digi images which you can check out at the digi gallery.  

I decided to do something a little different. I was looking through all the digi images that I had to try and decide which one to use and noticed the Easter Basket image.  This is an accessory image but thought I would use it on its own to make a little gift bag which you could use to give little Easter eggs.  Here is my project:

I know the photos are rubbish.  However many times I took a photo it just didn't come out that well.  Anyway, I coloured the image with copics and used a small white gift bag from Hobbycraft.  The papers are from First Edition called Spring Drop and the sentiment is computer generated.  I think the bag will be great filled with little eggs!  

I promise it does look better in real life!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Do you have anything romantic planned today or do you just ignore this day!!  I don't normally bother but I am being taken out for a lovely meal this evening so this year will be a little different for me!  

I wanted to share with you today a card I made for Valentine's day, I hope you like it!

I have used "Puppy Love" from Saturated Canary and the papers are Maja Designs (must buy some more!) - Life in the Country.  I have used the same sentiment I used on my last card which is from Hannelie at Desert Diva.  I didn't want to make this too girly so I resisted using any glamour dust or flowers!  Just added a couple of pearls here and there!

Good Afternoon All

Happy Chinese New Year to those who celebrate.  I went out for a lovely Chinese meal last night to get into the mood, yummy!!  

I made a valentines day card for one of my design teams but realised that the challenge wasn't until after valentines day so thought I would just do another one and share this with you today instead!!  

Here is my card:

I loved this image from Meljen's Designs here.  I added glossy accents to the hearts and sprinkled some glamour dust before it dried so they sparkle as well!!  The sentiment is a freebie from Hannelie at Desert Diva.  I was introduced to her from my teamie at MAWTT - Riette.  She has some great free sentiments to download and use so do go along and check them out.  The papers are called Me to You - With Love which were free with a magazine.  The die is La La Land Heart Banner Die.

Another challenge at the Sugar Bowl!

Hi All

Its me again this time with my card for the new challenge at the Sugar Bowl. 

Its our 100 Challenge today!!

We are celebrating by having, not one, but two winners this month and the prize is 4 Sugar Nellie images of your choice from Funky Kits!

Remember our challenges run for a month now and the theme is "Anything Goes".  Please remember that you MUST use a Sugar Nellie image.  So here is my card:

I decided to use one of the new Vintage Adorables because they are so, well, adorable!!  This lovely lady is called Suzie and she is available in digi from Funky Kits here. I teamed her with some gorgeous new papers I have got from Whimsy Stamps called Cottage Garden.  I didn't do much else as the paper was so pretty and complimented the image so well.  I just added some mulberry flowers and some fancy gems. The swirl is Mini Fanciful Flourish from Cheery Lynn.

I have to admit to using a pre-coloured image for this card.  She is called Madison Attitude and you can get her here.  She is a girl after my own heart!!  I teamed her up with paper from Echo Park - Dots & Stripes - Homefront 2.  Pink and Brown are one of my favourite colour combinations so I am quite pleased with this one!!  I added some mulberry flowers and a pearl swirl both from Hobby House.  I just added some pearls and glamour dust.

Elisabeth Bell Blog Hop!!

Hi Everyone!!

Its almost the weekend!!  Can you believe its February already, where did January go!!  Anyway I'm not complaining, the days are getting a little longer, Spring will almost be here!!

Enough waffle, got something much more exciting to talk about!  We have another brand new digi release from the pen of the fabulous Elisabeth Bell!!  You will love her.  She is called "Miss You, Love You" which you can get right now at the Digital Gallery.

I really enjoyed making this card!  I love the new image and I have used my favourite colours!  I decided to add some flowers and gems, together with some lace ribbon and another heart from my friend Lisa.  It has a slightly vintage feel I think.
