Garden Girl!

I hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend.  I wanted to get some colouring done today but I have been faffing around in the craft room basically doing nothing!

I did colour up another Garden Girl from Stamping Bella the other day for a special birthday for someone.  She is called Tiny Townie Sweet Pea.

I love these little ladies!

Opal the Optimist - Uptown Girl!

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all well and have nice plans for the weekend.  I haven't been feeling very well the last couple of days, I did manage to get into the craft room and relax with some colouring!  I have used a new Uptown Girl image today from Stamping Bella which I got from Quixotic Paperie. Here is my card:

I really enjoy working with these lovely ladies and the sentiment comes with it.  The papers are from Maja Designs - Vintage Spring Basics.  I am not sure the hearts work in the corner but it was too late to move them!  The dies are from Dies to Die For and are Memory Box Precious Hearts and Die-namics Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax.  The flowers and pearls are from the Hobby House.  Just a touch of glamour dust to finish off!  

I hope you like it, I do like this colour combination!

Heck of a Challenge - GDT

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you enjoyed your Easter Sunday!  The sun managed to come out yesterday which made a change!  Isn't it great that the clocks have now gone forward, lovely light evenings!

My gorgeous blogging buddy Lisa asked me to be Guest DT this month at Heck of a Challenge and of course I said yes!  The theme this month is:

"Water"

I had just bought the perfect image for this challenge and had been waiting to use it!  Here is my card:

The image is Stamping Bella - Uptown Girl Bubbles Loves Bubbly!  There is so much glamour dust on this but you can't see it in the photos!  The gorgeous paper is Echo Park Everyday Eclectic and the sentiment is Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket.  I left the accessories quite simple as the paper was quite busy.  

The challenge lasts for a month, so plenty of time!  The winner will win a £10 gift voucher from Every Crafts a Pound either the online shop or in store.

Another Uptown Girl!

 Hi Everyone!

I've been spending a quite morning in my craft room watching the snow fall outside!  It hasn't stopped all day!  Its quite nice watching it when you don't have to go out in it!  I won't be so happy tomorrow morning when I have to try and get to work!  

I coloured another Uptown Girl!  Sorry if you are getting bored!  I must try some different Stamping Bella!  Anyway, this one is using Felicity and Blair - Living Life.  Here is my card:

Now these aren't colours I normally use but I do like the combination.  I have added some of my precious SU ribbon which I hardly EVER use!  This one is Pumpkin Pie!  I have added glamour dust and pearls to finish, as usual!

Well my plans for the weekend have had to change due to the snow!  Still at least I am warm at home and don't need to go anywhere so can just enjoy the snow for now! I hope you are all safe and warm!  

I have another card today "just for fun"!  I have used another Uptown Girl stamp from Stamping Bella  This one is called "Victoria and Juliette's Night Out".  Here is my card:

This is obviously what I look like when I go out drinking (not!)!!  They do look super cool don't they!  I have just coloured with copics and polychromos.  The paper is from Maja Designs - Life in the Country and all I did was add some glamour dust and pearls.  Kept it quite simple.  Oh, the photo corner die is from Die-namics and was part of a Christmas present!

Posh has a Present!

Good Morning!

I hope you are all well and looking forward to your weekend!  I know I am!  

I managed to find time to colour up an image just for fun the other night.  Its my mission this year to find time to make cards and colour up images for fun rather than for DT work (not that DT work isn't fun but you know what I mean!!)  One range I want to us more of is Stamping Bella and particularly the Uptown Girls, which is what I have done today!  

Here is my card:

This gorgeous lady is called Posh has a Present.  I decided to go for a green/pink combo, I haven't done this for a while and I quite like the fresh green of her dress.  I have kept the background quite simple so that the image pops out.  I added some felt rolled flowers using Die-namics rolled flower and added some lace ribbon, pearls and glamour dust.

I had fun colouring her up, I hope you like her.

Good Afternoon!

The weekend is almost here!!  Yippee!  I am feeling very pleased with myself as I have more or less finished by Christmas shopping now!  I don't think I have ever been this organised!  However, I am now starting to stress that I am not getting stressed about it all!! Does that make sense! :-)

Anyway, enough waffle.  I recently joined the Stamping Bella Sistahood on Facebook!  They have some fabulous inspiration using the gorgeous Stamping Bella images that I just had to get some images out to colour.  Thank you ladies!  Here is my card:

I am so going to start using these images more!!  I do love them but just never have time. Anyway this is Uptown Girl - Quinn in her Boots which you can get from Quixotic Paperie here.  I teamed her with Echo Park - Winter Wishes papers and added snowflakes using my Die-namics Let it Snowflake die.  Lots of glamour dust and pearls to finish off!  Oh and a snowflake charm from my stash.
