Easter/Spring Time at The Sugar Bowl

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are having a great week.  I have had a busy one as I am getting ready to go away on Saturday. 10 days in the sunshine in the Canary Islands is waiting for me!  Can't wait!  I will have some scheduled posts whilst I am away so I won't be far away!

Today we have a new challenge starting at the Sugar Bowl, I can't believe how quickly the month goes by!  Please pop on over to the main challenge blog to see if you were a winner from last time.

This month our theme is:

"Easter/Spring Time"

Easy!  But please remember that you MUST USE A SUGAR NELLIE IMAGE TO TAKE PART.

Here is my card:

I have used "Bad Hare Day" by Krista Smith which you can get at Funky Kits here.  Isn't she fab!  I have coloured her with copics and have used papers by LOTV called Shabby Shack.  The flowers are made with Die-namics Flower Trio and the lettering was done using Memory Box Parker Lower Alphabet Set.  All the gorgeous embellishments are from the Hobby House

I hope you can join us this month.  Pop on over to the main challenge blog for some gorgeous inspiration.  Have a great day and I will see you when I get back from holiday!

Photo Inspiration at MAWTT

Good Morning!

I hope you are all well.  I haven't posted for a while, what with the nicer weather recently I haven been trying to get out and do more walking at the weekend which is usually my crafting time!  Also am still suffering with this bug and its not making me feel very creative!

Anyway, I am happy to say that I am the hostess this week over at Moving Along With The Times and I have a photo inspiration for you this week:

You can interpret this anyway you would like, springtime, Easter, or just use the colours.

I have to be honest, I don't like my card this week.  Nothing to do with the image or anything, just my layout and everything.  Anyway here it is:

I have used the lovely LOTV Art Pads and this one is from the Wild Flowers Set 3.  The paper is also from LOTV, I used the Heartfelt pad and the Shabby Shack pad.  I do like all the new paper pads that they are bringing out at the moment and am using them a lot.  I have used my La La Land filigree corner die and Lil'Inker Designs stitched rectangle.  The extra bits and bobs are all from the Hobby House.

For some much better inspiration you need to pop on over to the main challenge blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have done!  I do hope you can join us this week!

OK, that's it from me for now.  Have a great day!

Hobby House Inspiration

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend, what fantastic weather we had in the UK!  Just makes you feel so much better when the sun is shining!

I am here this morning with a card using all the gorgeous products from the Hobby House.  You may have seen the new toppers on Create & Craft on the last show.  I have used one of them today.

The image is from Elisabeth Bell and these toppers are called April Showers.  All of the embellishments are from the HH Embellishment Set called Peach and Green.  I can't tell you how much I love these embellishment sets.  There are four colourways now and you just have to buy them!  There is everyone you need to embellish your creations and they are such gorgeous quality!  Here are links to the products below:

The extra bits on the card are papers from LOTV - Antebellum pack and I used my SU tiny tags punch and stamp for the little tag.

Please pop on over to the inspiration blog to see more gorgeous creations and also remember our current challenge is still running and the theme is "Buttons"

Have a great day!!

We're Feeling Blue at MAWTT!

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well.  It is definately feeling like Spring now isn't it, we have had some lovely sunny weather the last few days.  Can you believe I am still suffering with this flipping cold/flu thing.  Its been about a month now.  It just won't go!!

Enough of my moaning!  Our gorgeous Debs is our hostess at Moving Along With The Times this week and and she has us feeling blue with a Mood Board.  Here is the board:

When I first saw this I immediately thought about the Uptown Girl images!  Here is my card:

This of course is Uptown Girl Audrey from Stamping Bella, she is so classy!  I coloured her with copics and used paper from Authentique - Journey.  The sentiment is from another Uptown Girl stamp called Posh has a Present.  I used my Memory Box Cityscape Nightime die again and just added a sparkly ribbon from my stash some pearls and glamour dust.  My inspiration for my card today came from the fabby Mary J.  Who is just as classy as Audrey!

Do pop on over to the main challenge blog for the rest of the DT inspiration!

That's it from me for today.  Thank you so much everyone for your lovely comments. I do appreciate them all and I am sorry I haven't been around to you all recently.

Have a great day

Buttons - The Hobby House

Good Morning Everyone

Happy weekend!  I am back this morning with a project for the new challenge at The Hobby House.  Did you see the show on Create and Craft yesterday?  There were some gorgeous things.  Check out the Hobby House website to see the products that were on the show.

This month our theme is:

"Buttons"

Now I may have gone a bit overboard with the buttons on my project!!

Its basically just an old photo frame that I embellished.  I had great fun glueing all those buttons on!  I added a Kenny K topper to the frame but of course any personal photo can go in there.  It would be great in a little girls room.  Here are the Hobby House products I used with a link to the store:

The only extra thing I used was the paper which is from the LOTV pack called Promises.

The rest of the Design Team have made some AWESOME projects so please check them out at the main challenge blog!

OK, I am off for a quick visit to my local craft shop, I have run out of blue paper which I need for a project I need to finish the weekend!!

Have a great day.
