Inspired by a Song - Moving Along With The Times

Hi Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!  The weather has been utterly miserable all week, I hope it improves for the weekend as I am off to Bath for the Christmas Markets. I have never been before so am looking forward to it!

Anyway, today is another challenge over at Moving Along With The Times and this week our gorgeous leader Hazel who has challenged us to be inspired by a song:

"Its A Sing Song"!

I coloured up this little beauty a while ago. I really want to start using images that I just don't get time to do!  Anyway here is my card:

Can you guess what my song inspiration was?!  "Wishing on a Star"!!

The image is called Tilda Catching Stars and I coloured her with copics.  She is teamed with some of my favourite papers - Maja Design - Coffee in the Arbour and I just embellished with mulberry flowers, some lace ribbons and pearls.  Oh and the corner die is from La La Land called filigree corner.

Please pop on over to the main challenge blog as there are some lovely projects!

Right, that's  it from me today.  Have a fab weekend when it comes!

Love and Hugs

Sweet Stampin' News!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I am not  normally here on a Saturday but I have some exciting news to share!  I was asked a couple of weeks ago if I would like to join the Sweet Stampin' DT!!  I was very honoured to be asked and am thrilled to join the lovely design team!  Thank you for having me ladies!

My first card is for the Sweet Stampin' 5th Birthday Celebrations!  So the theme this week is of course "Birthdays!"  So make sure you have birthday somewhere on your card and of course some stamping!  Here is my card:

I wanted to use some more of my fabulous La La Land images and this one is called Marci Cupcake.  She is coloured with copics.  She has come out much darker than I wanted and the whole card really wasn't what I intended but I hope its ok!!  The papers are Floral Pavilion from First Edition which are lovely.  I then just decorated with glamour dust, pearls and my memory box precious hearts die.  Oh and I also used a LOTV stitched stamp around the edge of the papers.

Now you need to pop on over to the main challenge blog.  We have some great sponsors this week:

Wild Orchid £10 voucher

Craft Devils Papercrafts £15 voucher

Marianne Designs with a surprise prize!

Ok I think that is it from me today!  Have a fabulous weekend. I will be doing some colouring this afternoon and generally relaxing in my craft room!  I can't wait!

Love and Hugs

Celebrating Kindness at Moving Along With The Times

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you are all ok!  I was away on a craft retreat at the weekend run by Rosemary Merry.  I have been on them before but not for a couple of years.  It was great fun and I will share the projects with you over the course of the next few weeks!

We have a new challenge starting today at Moving Along With The Times and our Hazel picked the theme which is:

"Celebrate Kindness"

Its World Kindness Day today so its a lovely challenge to celebrate this.

I decided to go for a thank you card and here it is:

I coloured this lovely lady a while ago as part of one of the Kit and Clowder Live Classes.  She is called Flower Girl from Whimsy Stamps.  She is coloured with copics.  I kept the card simple with some pretty paper, some pearls and ribbon from my stash. The sentiment tag is from Stamping Up.

Please pop on over to the main challenge blog for some more gorgeous inspiration!

That's it from me today.  Have a lovely day and I will see you soon!
