Little Rapunzel from Elisabeth Bell

Good Afternoon!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend (long weekend if you are in the UK!) The weather is still rubbish here, its so cold!  I did a bit of serious retail therapy this morning, not done that for such a long time!  I had to buy some new bits for my trip to Istanbul at the end of the month so at least I have something decent to wear now!

I have a card to share today using an Elisabeth Bell image called Little Rapunzel.  She is gorgeous and you can get her in digi her from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Gallery.  Here is my card:

Isn't she adorable!  I coloured with copics and teamed her with my First Edition papers from the Boho Chic collection.  The flowers are from Prima Flowers and have a little sparkle in real life.  I just added the butterflies and some gems to finish off.  Do pop over to the Digi Bells blog where you will find lots of inspiration using all the digital images from Elisabeth Bell.

Ok, I have now got to get on and catch up on a lot of commenting!  Enjoy the rest of your afternoon and will speak to you soon!

Love and Hugs

Summer Fun at Cupcake Craftroom

Good morning everyone

I hope you are all well. I have managed to come down with a head cold so I am feeling very sorry for myself at the moment, with a sore nose!

I have had some very good news though. I have been selected to join the Digi Bells as a Guest Designer!  I am very excited and can't wait to get started.

OK back to business for today which is a brand new challenge at Cupcake Craftroom.  Mandy has a brand new release of papers called Last Summer which are a fabulous collection of papers in fresh, zingy colours perfect for your summer cards and projects.

We have a photo for inspiration for you this month and here is my make using the new papers:

I have used the Bright Blue, Popsicles and Picnic from the paper collection for my card. I love the bright fresh colours.  The image is of course from Krista at Saturated Canary and she is called Beach Baby. I just added some ribbon and embellishments from my stash.  I also added some sand flower soft on the sand.

I hope you can join in this month, don't be shy!  Hop over to the challenge blog and check out the inspiration from the DT girls.

Distressing at Wags 'n Whiskers

I'm late!  I should have posted this earlier.  Not sure where my brain is sometimes!

We have a brand new challenge over at Wags 'n Whiskers today.  Our theme this time is:

"Distressing"

I haven't done a distressed card for a while but I should do more, I enjoyed making this one! Not sure if it is really distressed, I get anxiety attacks if things aren't completely straight and level!  Anyway, see what you think!

The image is so sweet!  She is called Tiny Dancer which you can get here in rubber and here in digi.  I love the pretty colours in this and I have added some glamour dust to her little dress!  The paper is from Authentique - Delightful.  This the first time I have used mulberry flowers as well!  I bought these from the Hobby House here and I will be buying a few more colours I think!

I hope you can join in with us this week.  Do pop over to the challenge blog to see some more inspiration from the fabulous DT.

OK, thats it from me!  Have a great evening!

Just for You

Hi All

I hope you are all well. I haven't had much chance to get around to everyone recently but I am looking and hope to catch up with you all over the weekend.  I coloured up some images last weekend and put together this card with one of them:

I used one my gorgeous Elizabeth Bell for SCACD images and she is called Susan which you can get from Quixotic Paperie.  She didn't come out quite as I imagined, not sure about the colours!  The paper is from Cosmo Cricket - Mini Deck - Tea for Two.  I have used my mini rolled rose die-namics die with some super soft felt from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

I made up this card for the Digi Bells GDT call they have at the moment.

That was a super quick one from me!
See you again soon for the new Wags 'n Whiskers challenge!

MAWTT - Garden/Flowers

Well, not sure what is going on with the weather here in the UK but it gives a whole new meaning to the term April Showers!  Unbelievable amount of rain yesterday!

But, the rain is good for the garden apparently, which leads me neatly into our brand new challenge at MAWTT (did you like the smooth link into the challenge there!)

Our gorgeous Mau is hosting her first challenge at MAWTT today so I hope you can join in this week to show her some support!  She has come up with the great challenge of:

"Garden/Flowers"

We are sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps who are offering the winner $10 to spend in store.

We were kindly given some images to use for our challenge and this is what I came up with:

The image is called Flowers for Mom which you can get here.  I created my scene with papers from First Edition called Spring Drop, I added some felt clouds using my PTI cloud die, the grass is a die-namics die as are the mini rolled roses.  I hope you like my little card.

The DT have have come up with some fab inspiration so do please pop over and take a look.

Have a great Thursday and I will see you soon.
