White On White at LCI

Good Morning Everyone

I hope your week has started well and that you had great weekends.  I really need to get sorted for Christmas, it's quite scary how quickly it is coming round!

We have a new challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT today and I am hosting the challenge which is

"WOW" or "White on White"

Goodness knows why I picked this as a challenge!  I always struggle with White on White!!  I guess thats why they are called challenges!  Anyway I did manage to get something done and here is my card!

I apologise for the photos, I just couldn't get a decent one at all!!  You get the idea though right!?  I bought Cupcake Ruby a while ago and hadn't inked her up, I am loving Ruby at the moment!  I used bazzill bling white cardstock and used my "In Stitches" embossing folder for the centre panel. I added some ribbon from my stash and felt flowers using the Die-namics flower and leaf trio.  I glittered up the embossed panel and the circle die. I also added glitter to her wings and shoes, she really sparkles in real life!

The rest of the DT have rocked the challenge this week so please do go and check their projects out here.  Also please do along and see if you are a winner this week and to see who was successful in our GDT call!  Very exciting!

That's it from me today.  Have a good one.

First Project from my Craft Weekend

Hi Everyone,

I hope your weekend has started well.  I haven't got a card for you today but I wanted to start sharing my projects that I did at my craft retreat last weekend.  They are all Christmas related and this is the first one!
Front

Back
This is an Advent Calendar made from a wooden cutting board.  The edges of the cutting board were painted and then inked up when dry.  We used Bo Bunny Back to Backs Blitzen paper to cover the board, this pack is just gorgeous.  The lamp-post, mantlepiece and presents were all cut out from the paper pack.  Lots of glitter, GA and ribbon!

What do you think?  Its a lovely alternative to the wooden draw advent calendars that are around, which are also gorgeous!  But this doesn't take as long to finish!

Will be back with another project soon.  Well I had better get on, lots to do today.

Have a great Saturday everyone.

 Love and Hugs

Good Morning Everyone

How has your week been going?  It's been pretty busy in my world but I am away tomorrow up to Cheshire until Monday for the Rosemary Merry Craft Retreat.  I cannot wait!!  Hopefully I will have lots of gorgeous creations to share with you when I get back!

So onto today's business which is another challenge over at Moving Along With The Times.  The fabulous Laurie is fresh back from holidays and she is hosting this week's challenge which is:

"Let It Snow"

We were given some images to use from our sponsor this week - Digi My World and here is what I created:

When I saw the images I knew I wanted to create a little scene.  I used my Echo Park Wintertime by Bella Road paper which was perfect.  I added some flower soft for the snow and glitter for sparkle.  The snowflakes are made using my Die-namics Let It Snowflake die and my new Memory Box Frosty Border die (again!).  The images are from the Winter Kids Collection which you can get here.  I just resized them, coloured up with copics and added glitter here and there!  I had fun making this card so I hope you like it!

are offering the winner a $10 voucher to spend in store which is fabulous.  Do pop along to their website as they have lots of fun images to play with!

The Design Team have made some real fun projects this week so please do go along to check them out and I hope you can join in the fun this week!

Good Morning Everyone!

Can you believe its Thursday again!!  We are racing towards Christmas at an alarming rate!  Really need to start making lists and getting organised!

Anyway, enough waffle, today is of course another challenge over at Moving Along With The Times.  Thank you all so much for your entries into my Food and Drink challenge last week, they were all gorgeous!

Today our Hazel is the hostess and she has set the challenge of:

"Once Upon A Fairy Tale"

This did throw me for a bit!  Then I found an image at The Paper Shelter which I thought would be lovely for this challenge and I ended up really enjoying making this card!

I wish I had done her dress a bit darker but I can live with it!  The image is called "Training my Dragon" which you can get from The Paper Shelter here.  The papers are again from my Echo Park, Victoria Gardens pack which the gorgeous Laurie bought for me!  I have used my cloud die from PTI, my Die-namics Mini Rolled Rose Die and my Leaf Die from Magnolia.  I love the mini rolled roses they look so pretty.  The felt is all from LCI here. I will try and make a card without using felt one of these days!!

Our sponsor this week is Crimson Cloud

and they are very kindly offering 3 packs of die cuts from their store (winners choice!) I wish I could enter!!

Can't wait to see your creations this week!  Hop on over to the challenge blog to see all the other gorgeous creations from the DT.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Well, its a pretty exciting day today!  We have lots going on over at Ladybug towers so grab yourself a cuppa and make sure you read until the end as there is candy on offer!
We have a brand new digi release today and they are super sweet, you will "love" them!  So to celebrate we are having a Blog Hop!  Woo Hoo!  I love Blog Hops, none of the DT see each others projects so its just as exciting for us!

The new release is called "Love and Marriage".  Each image is £1.75 and there are six in total or you can buy the whole lot for £9, saving yourself a £1! I am the first on the blog hop so welcome!  After me you need to hop over to the uber talented Mary J, if you get lost head back to the challenge blog.

Here is my card:

Isn't the image so sweet and it was lovely to colour!  This image is called "The Kiss".  The papers are a birthday present from my blog buddy Laurie and they are from Echo Park, Victoria Gardens paper pack.  I thought these were a perfect match for this image.  I made the flower with ribbon and felt also available from Ladybug Crafts Ink. I have also made a little Wedding Gift Tag from another image from the set:
The paper is from the same pack and the mini rolled roses are also made from felt from LCI.  I hope you like them!

You have three ways of winning a prize this week.  You can take part in the hop, leaving comments on the all the Ladybug's blogs as well as the challenge blog telling us which is your favourite.  You can also take part in the challenge which this week is:

"Love & Marriage and/or Anything Goes"

Or, you can do both!

But please make sure you grab the banner and post on your side bar.

Onto the second bit of news!  It is the first anniversary of the Ladybug Challenge Blog and some of the DT are offering up some candy!!  Here is mine:

I am offering a Prima Jack & Jill Paper Pack; Nikki and Friend Window Shopping stamp and two pieces of felt in Sea Breeze and Vanilla.  I will randomly pick a winner from the comments left on my blog.  All the winners will be announced next Tuesday.

Well, I think thats it!!  I hope you are still with me!  Remember you now need to hop along to Mary J.  Enjoy the hop and do let us know what you think of the new images!

Food and Drink at MAWTT

Hi All!  How is your week going?

I am sorry I haven't been able to visit you much this week, I am looking but just not getting much time to comment properly.  Will catch up at the end of the week.

I am here today for our new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  I am the hostess this week and I have chosen a theme of:

"Food and Drink"

My favourite thing, apart from shoes!! Here is my card using another gorgeous LOTV image:

We are sponsored this week by

And the winner will win 1 A5 stamp sheet of the winner's choice!  How cool is that!

The rest of the fabulous Design Team have made some fab cards so please go along to the challenge blog to check them out!  I look forward to seeing your creations this week.
