Rachel, Little Angel - Digi Bells Post

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well and your week is going well.  I am here today with my card for the Digi Bells inspiration blog.  This time I am using a sweet little image called Rachel, Little Angel which you can get from the Elisabeth Bell digi gallery here.  

Here is my card:

 

Isn't she adorable!  I have coloured with copics and polychromos.  The paper is from Samantha Walker Cuckoo 4 U - Chocolate Melon.  The colours aren't ones I normally use so it was nice to do something different.  The swirl die is Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish and then just added flowers, pearls and glamour dust.

New Release and Blog Hop!!

Hi All!!

I am super excited today!  Gorgeous Kerry over at Ladybug Crafts Ink invited me to join in as guest designer for their brand new release today!!  Of course I said yes!  The chance to be a Ladybug just one more time was just too good pass up!!  I miss those girls!

Anyway, the new release is just up my street!! The collection is called "Killer Heels"!!

So onto business.  There are lots of ways to win prizes, all the details are below.  You should have arrived here from my gorgeous blogging buddy Laurie.  If you are lost then head back to the challenge bog here.  So here is my card!!

I tried something a little different.  I wanted to keep to a simple style and layout and let the image do the talking!  Don't you just love those shoes!!  

When I first saw the image I immediately thought the fabric on both the shoes and the top of the bag would be made of silk and I decided on different colours of pink. The rolled flowers would also be in silk and very dimensional.  You can't really tell from the photo but the bag is covered in glamour dust.  I have a bag like this which is full of sequins and I got my inspiration from that!  I thought that a black and white background card would be a good combination with the pink.  I do hope you like it and that I have done the image justice!

Vintage Valentine at Elisabeth Bell

Hi Everyone!

Nearly the weekend!!  I hope you have lots of nice things planned.  I won't have time to do much crafting unfortunately but I will be having a lovely weekend nonetheless!

Not sure that its completely vintage but I have distressed all the edges and inked them up a little!!  I am too neat to do distressed I am afraid!!  The image is called "Heart Strings". The paper is from Maja Designs - Life in the Country (I know I have said this before but I LOVE Maja Design papers!)  I added some glamour dust, pearls and mulberry flowers.  The heart was from a pack sent from my gorgeous blogging buddy Lisa as part of a Christmas present!

I have used "Let it Rain - Marie" digi set.  This one was pre-coloured which is always helpful when needing to make a quick card.  I loved the rainbow colours!  I just added loads of glamour dust to the umbrella and the raindrops.  The fench punch is from Doo Hickeys and the paper is Echo Park Dots & Stripes - Home Front #2

Another Uptown Girl!

 Hi Everyone!

I've been spending a quite morning in my craft room watching the snow fall outside!  It hasn't stopped all day!  Its quite nice watching it when you don't have to go out in it!  I won't be so happy tomorrow morning when I have to try and get to work!  

I coloured another Uptown Girl!  Sorry if you are getting bored!  I must try some different Stamping Bella!  Anyway, this one is using Felicity and Blair - Living Life.  Here is my card:

Now these aren't colours I normally use but I do like the combination.  I have added some of my precious SU ribbon which I hardly EVER use!  This one is Pumpkin Pie!  I have added glamour dust and pearls to finish, as usual!

Well my plans for the weekend have had to change due to the snow!  Still at least I am warm at home and don't need to go anywhere so can just enjoy the snow for now! I hope you are all safe and warm!

This is obviously what I look like when I go out drinking (not!)!!  They do look super cool don't they!  I have just coloured with copics and polychromos.  The paper is from Maja Designs - Life in the Country and all I did was add some glamour dust and pearls.  Kept it quite simple.  Oh, the photo corner die is from Die-namics and was part of a Christmas present!

Posh has a Present!

Good Morning!

I hope you are all well and looking forward to your weekend!  I know I am!  

I managed to find time to colour up an image just for fun the other night.  Its my mission this year to find time to make cards and colour up images for fun rather than for DT work (not that DT work isn't fun but you know what I mean!!)  One range I want to us more of is Stamping Bella and particularly the Uptown Girls, which is what I have done today!  

Here is my card:

This gorgeous lady is called Posh has a Present.  I decided to go for a green/pink combo, I haven't done this for a while and I quite like the fresh green of her dress.  I have kept the background quite simple so that the image pops out.  I added some felt rolled flowers using Die-namics rolled flower and added some lace ribbon, pearls and glamour dust.

I had fun colouring her up, I hope you like her.

Anything Goes at Sugar Bowl

Hi All

I'm back again!  This time for the new challenge at the Sugar Bowl.  

We have started 2013 with some changes!  This will not now be a sketch challenge but an "Anything Goes" challenge (easy!) but you must remember to use a Sugar Nelllie image.  The other main change is that the challenges will be moving to monthly, so more time to play!!  Check out the main challenge blog for all the details.

You may not be aware but Karen over at Funky Kits now has Simply Sassy images available on digi, check them out here!  I have used the gorgeous Tiffany.  I teamed her up with papers from MME (can't remember the name of the pack I am afraid) and she is coloured with copics and pencils.  I added flowers, pearls and glamour dust.  The die is Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish.  The little sentiment is Tiny Tags from SU.

Brand New Challenge at MAWTT

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are well and your week is going ok.

I have two posts for you today.  The first one is my project for the new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  I have had a little break from the team but I am very excited about being back (I missed the girls too much!) and I am raring to go!

There have been some changes to the set up of the team.  We have expanded the team quite a bit and we have now split into two teams.  There will still be a new challenge every week though.  Pop on over to the main challenge blog and this will explain everything!

I decided to make a thank you card and used this gorgeous image called "Cosmos" which you can get here.  I think the papers worked wonderfully well and they are from Carina Gardner Studio - Flourish pack.  I just added some ribbon, glamour dust and pearls.  I left it quite simple apart from adding some little butterflies.

Good Afternoon!

Yippee, its Friday!  For a short week it feels like a very long one!!  

I have a card for you today that I did last year but never got around to popping on here.  It was made at a colouring class held at Crafts U Love and which was run by the gorgeous Jacqui aka Cat Whiskers.  I went on three of four of these classes last year, I hope she will be doing more this year as they are a lot of fun!  

Here is my card:

The image is from Art Impressions, this one is called Annie (Front and Back) which is currently on sale at Crafts U Love here.  I did have problem stamping the front facing image to fit by the fence, you may notice her hand is hovering just above it!!  Oh well!  

The image was coloured with Copics and Polychromos.  I love the colours and the gorgeous heart border punch (can't remember who this is by, sorry!)

Well its back to reality with a bump!  First day back at work yesterday :-(  At least its a short week this week!  

I managed to get some cards done over the Christmas break and one of these was my card today which is for the Digi Bells blog.  Here is my card:
