Digi Bell DT - Li'l Lilian

Good Afternoon Everyone

I hope you are all well and having a great start to the week.

I had a lovely birthday weekend.  Thank you to everyone for all your wonderful birthday wishes and lovely gifts!  I have some birthday candy here if you would like to enter!

I was taken away to Oxford for the weekend to celebrate.  Stayed in a very cool hotel which was previously a prison, so very quirky!  Had a lovely meal on Saturday night.  Then a stroll around the colleges and a bit of shopping on Sunday before heading home!

So onto today's business which is my inspiration for you using one of the gorgeous Elisabeth Bell digi images.  Today I have used Li'l Lilian!

I went to the Bluewater craft show with my mum the other week and bought some bits and bobs, including the scalloped shaped card which I have used here.  I also bought the mulberry flowers and the little heart pearl both of which are from the Hobby House.  The swirl is also new and is from Cheery Lynn and is called Mini Fanciful Flourish.  Li'l Lilian is coloured with copics and prisma pencils and is completely adorable!  The papers are quite fussy so I left the card fairly plain (which is my normal style anyway I guess!!)

Do pop over to the Digi Bells Inspiration blog to check out some more wonderful inspiration.  We are also back on Friday with a brand new image and a blog hop, so don't miss that!

OK, that's it from me today.  I will be back on Thursday with another card for MAWTT and the Sugar Bowl!  See you then!

Love and Hugs

Its time for the LCI Blog Hop!!

Hi Everyone!

Well its an exciting day today for all the Ladybugs!!  New challenge, new images and a blog hop to celebrate!!  Grab a cuppa and a biscuit and settle down for some fun!

So we are celebrating the release of some brand new digi images which you can get now at the LCI store.  They are called Snowman Delight, there are 6 in the set and are £1.75 each.

You should have arrived here from our gorgeous Susan, if you get lost along the way then head back to the challenge blog to start again.

Here is my make using "Snowballs for Sale Delight":

How sweet is this little guy!!  I wanted to create a little scene and found this paper from my stash which was perfect.  I edged top and bottom with my Martha Stewart punch and added some snowflakes using my new Cheery Lynn Designs die.  I coloured my image with copics and prisma pencils and added a MASSIVE amount of glamour dust and white flower soft!!  Probably too much!!

So onto the rules.  If you want to take part in the hop then you need to grab the banner on my sidebar and pop it onto yours.  Make your way through the hop and leave comments on all the DT and GDT blogs and then leave a comment on the challenge blog telling us what your favourite image is.  The winner will win all 6 images and there will also be five winners who will win 1 image each.

We are also running our normal challenge this fortnight which you can still take part in without doing the hop (or you can do both if you want to!)  The challenge this week is a photo inspiration one:

Phew!  You have probably eaten half a dozen biscuits by now!!  All that's left is for me to tell you that you now need to hop on over to our fabulous Guest Designer Gemma!!

There is one final point from me which is to say that this post is my last one as a member of the design team at LCI.  Its a very sad day for me and I thought long and hard about it I can tell you.  Kerry and her fabulous images are the reason why I started my blog in the first place and they will both hold a very special place in heart, along with all the gorgeous Ladybugs!  I will miss them all!  Thank you ladies!

That really is it from me.  Have a great day.

Love and Hugs

Isn't she just gorgeous.  I have coloured her with Copics and Prisma pencils.  The gorgeous paper is again from Maja Designs Vintage Summer.  I have used my new Cheery Lynn Designs mini fanciful flourish die which I think will be very useful.  The flowers and pearl heart are from the Hobby House.  Then just some glamour dust to finish off!!

I hope you like her.  Please pop over to the Digi Bells blog for lots of inspiration.  Also pop along to the Elisabeth Bell's Digi Collection to purchase this and any of the other gorgeous designs.

New Challenge at the Sugar Bowl

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY MAWTT POST

Hi Sweeties!
I am back again for my card for the new sketch challenge at the Sugar Bowl.   The optional extra this fortnight is:

"Shabby Chic"

and here is the sketch

This is what I did:

I love this little sweetie!  She is called Fashionista which unfortunately is out of stock at Funky Kits at the moment but do go over and check out the rest of the Simply Sassy range here. I have teamed her up yet again with papers from Maja Designs (I am LOVING this paper pad!).  I distressed the edges and ran over them with my Creamy Brown Color Box Chalk Pad.  She is coloured with copics and prisma pencils and then just added flowers and pearls.  Nothing fancy!

I hope you can join us this week, remember you must use a Sugar Nellie image (but who wouldn't want to right?!) and you could win 4 Sugar Nellie images from Funky Kits.

OK, that's it from me today.  I will see you over the weekend with some more inspiration from the Digi Bells!

Christmas Gifts at MAWTT

Good Morning All

Hope you are all well!  I have a couple of cards for you today.  The first one is for the brand new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  Our Kim is our fabulous hostess this week and the theme is:

"Christmas Gifts"

We are sponsored this week by the gorgeous Anne at Digi My World and she very kindly gave us some images to use.  Here is my project:

I bought a load of plain gift bags a while ago with the intention of decorating them for friends but haven't done any!  So I thought I would give it a go.  The cute image is called "Little Elf" which you can get here.  I used the pre-coloured image (for speed!).  The papers are from MME Winter Wonderland and I just added a computer sentiment, some ribbon and a loopy bloom flower.  Its ok for my first attempt, although not sure how many I will be doing, there is so much space to fill which scares me a bit!!!

Don't forget to go and check out the rest of the DT inspirational Christmas gifts!

Will be back shortly with my card for the Sugar Bowl.

Take care

Card Ingredients
Stamp/Image - Little Elf - Digi My World; Sentiment - computer generated;
Paper/Card - Bazzill CS; MME Winter Wonderland;

An Inspiring Evening

Good Evening Everyone

I hope you are having a lovely weekend.  Mine has been relaxing so far and I had a great start to the weekend. I managed to get tickets to go to the Paralympics and saw the swimming at the Olympic Park last night.

It was very exciting just to be able to go into the Olympic Park and walk around and even more amazing to go and see an event inside the Aquatic Centre.  It was a memorable evening.  All the athletes are truly inspiring and the whole evening was very emotional.  I felt humbled, inspired, excited, emotional and even tearful, particularly when the blind swimmers got their medals.

I know we all have problems and issues in our lives but when you see what these athletes have overcome and what they can achieve, well it just completely inspires you and I feel very lucky that I was able to go.  I was going to share some photos but blogger won't let me as it says I have run out of free space!!  If anyone else has had this problem can you let me know what you did!

So, onto my card for this evening!  I have had this little lady coloured up for a while so I thought I would make her up!  Here is my card:

She is called Dandelion Clock from LOTV which you can get here. I coloured her with my copics and prisma pencils.  The paper is V&A Hanoverian and is very pretty which I thought was perfect for her!  I used my Doo Hickeys fence die again and also my MFT fresh cut grass die.  I also bought some labels dies from Doo Hickey as well and have used this to place my sentiment on.  Just added some flowers and pearls and lots of glamour dust!!!

I hope you like her!  I think she is gorgeous!

OK, I am off now, have just had some red wine put in front of me!!

Have a great evening.
Love and Hugs
