Card for Pollycraft Challenge

Good afternoon everyone

I hope you have been enjoying your weekend.  I really hate how quickly they go by :-(
I have another Christmas card for you today and this is one is using an image from Pollycraft called Cherry Kisses Little Christmas Tree which you can get here.  I am entering their challenge this week which is a sketch challenge.  Here is my take on it:

You know how much I love the Pollycraft images so i enjoyed colouring her in today! I used my copic pens and prisma pencils for shading.  The papers are from MME Be Merry paper pack which I bought from Quixotic Paperie here

I hope you like it!  I am just off now to see what you have been up to!
Have a lovely evening.

Love

Christmas in the sun!

Good afternoon one and all!

What a beautiful sunny day today!  I am currently at my mum's place sitting on the balcony in the sun!  My nephew is staying with mum all week to give my sister a break during the holidays!  I am hoping to get some time with them so we can go to the coast one day, but will see how the week goes!

Anyway I decided to do a Christmas card even though its sunny outside!  I have used one of the new Christmas images from Pollycraft which you can get here.  Here is my card:

This is another card which was so much better in my head than the way it has turned out.  I am not sure why this is happening.  I think I have used too many snowflakes on this, but hey its done now!  I used some white flower soft for the snow and the hat which looks quite effective.  I have also used a new snowflake embossing folder for the background and my new Die-namics Snowflakes Die which I bought from Dies to Die For

Anyway, I am going to sign off now as the sun is hot and this laptop is burning on my lap!!

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Love

    Make A Splash

    Good Afternoon All

How is your weekend going?  I had a great afternoon yesterday.  Met up with a couple of friends.  Did a little bit of retail therapy (didn't go mad!), some Italian food for dinner and then went to the movies to see Bridesmaids.  If you haven't seen it you MUST go, it is hilarious!!

My card today is for the Pollycraft Monday "Make A Splash" challenge. You may recall that I entered their DT call the other week.  Unfortunately I didn't get selected which was very sad :-(, but on the plus side at least I can still enter the challenges every week right!   Congratulations to the girls who did get on!

    Here is my card

I apologise the photos aren't great.  I used the Mermaid from the Enchant and Explore set which you can get here.  The sentiment is also from Pollycraft.  I have used some dew drop gems on the paper as well which you can't quite see from the photo.  The paper is Cosmo Cricket which I bought from Quixotic Paperie.

Ok I had better go, got lots to do today.  Enjoy your afternoon.

    Love
