Christmas in the sun!

Good afternoon one and all!

What a beautiful sunny day today!  I am currently at my mum's place sitting on the balcony in the sun!  My nephew is staying with mum all week to give my sister a break during the holidays!  I am hoping to get some time with them so we can go to the coast one day, but will see how the week goes! 

Anyway I decided to do a Christmas card even though its sunny outside!  I have used one of the new Christmas images from Pollycraft which you can get here.  Here is my card:

This is another card which was so much better in my head than the way it has turned out.  I am not sure why this is happening.  I think I have used too many snowflakes on this, but hey its done now!  I used some white flower soft for the snow and the hat which looks quite effective.  I have also used a new snowflake embossing folder for the background and my new Die-namics Snowflakes Die which I bought from Dies to Die For. 

Anyway, I am going to sign off now as the sun is hot and this laptop is burning on my lap!!

Brand Spanking New at MAWTT!!

Morning All

So onto my card, I decided to do a New Baby card.  I recently won an image over at Pollycraft. This is one of the new range called Little Stars and I have used Moon Lullaby which you can get here. 

She is such a cutie don't you think!  And lovely to colour.  I used up some old paper I had in my stash and the ribbon and sentiment is from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

I used Henry Hero on my card and here it is

 I really struggled with this challenge!  I just didn't know what colours to put together!  I thought that orange and red clashed quite well, I wouldn't normally put these together!  Anyway I hope you like it!  I used MME paper pack which I bought from Quixotic Paperie. I wanted to use stars as my embellishments but I haven't got a star punch or die!!  Buttons had to do!

Another Litte Pixie!

Good morning everyone

Wow, how quickly did the weekend go by.  And the news all over the weekend was awful wasn't it. 

I found some time to do some crafting the weekend which was nice.  I have done a card today for the Pixie Dust Studio challenge.  They have a sketch challenge this week which is great, I love sketches!

Here is my card:

 Sorry the photos aren't great, I was losing light when I took them.  I used January Pixie which I thought you could use for a winter birthday card or a Christmas card as I have done. The papers are MME Dear Santa paper stack.  I used my new flower and leaf trio die from Die-namics which I got from Dies to Die For.  I used a lot of glitter and glitter jewels on this card!

Summer Fun

Happy Saturday Everyone!

Wow, what a long week its been, so glad its the weekend.  I hope you are having a good one!  Just a quick one from me today, I must get ready, I am meeting a friend and just popping out for a pizza and a glass of wine! 

I decided to do another summer card today, here it is:

It hasn't really come out the way I had intended and not sure it works, what do you think?

I used Sonny - Life's a Beach from Pollycraft.  The paper is Echo Park - Splash which I bought from Quixotic Paperie, I just love the colours. Not sure if you can see it but I added some sand by her feet, this is in fact flower soft in "sand" which I bought last week!  The gorgeous ribbons are from Ladybug Crafts Ink, as is the sentiment stamp.

So here is my card:

I used Charles Bear - Just Relax which you can get here. I teamed him up with my Echo Park Splash paper pad, love the colours on these. The sentiment is from Kraftin Kimme.  I used lots of glitter in the bath which you can't see very well from the picture!  I also used some dew drop gems as bubbles and had them dripping over the bath. The punch I used is from Martha Stewart.

Blog Candy!

Hi Everyone!

Well this is very exciting for me!  I am coming up to my one year blogaversary, I cannot believe it has been a year already!  And I would like to thank all my wonderful followers and friends for all their support and help by offering some blog candy. 

I never would have thought a year ago that having a blog would taken over my life so much!  My crafting has improved 100% due to the inspiration from all of the wonderful, talented people in blog land!  I am now on three design teams which is so much fun!  And more importantly I have made some wonderful friends, some I have met and some I will be meeting very soon and I can't wait!

Girly Card

Hi All

First day back at work after my holiday.  Boy, I have serious holiday blues!  I've started doing the lottery now, maybe I can be the next person winning the £161m jackpot!  [Sigh].

Anyway onto my card.  I have recently found some fab new digi's from Pixie Dust Studio, they are so cute!  So I used one of their images for my card today for their challenge this week which is Girly, Girly. Here is my card:

I used Dolly Do-Little which you can get here.  How cute is she!  I have used my new Jillibean Soup paper pad which I bought on my day out with my mum on Friday.  I have also used my new Die-Namics die from Tracy at Dies to Die For.

Another Christmas Card and some Photos!

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you are having a great weekend.  I had a day out with my mum on Friday and we visited a couple of craft shops - The Glitter Pot first and then on the way back we went to the Craft Barn, a spot of lunch first though in a lovely little tea room nearby!  Stocked up on essential craft supplies of course!  My sister and nephew were also visiting this weekend so it is fun to see them.  

I made another Christmas card yesterday, that is 3 in total so far this year!  I used the gorgeous image "Letters to Santa" from Elizabeth Bell which you can get here. 

I used some of my new Bo Bunny papers from the Winter Joy collection, love the colour combination of these so may need to buy some more! I added some Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels for the snow and some Glamour Dust for the snowflakes and the edges of her coat and hat.  It is lovely and sparkly in real life!
