Nearly the bank holiday weekend, woo hoo! Can I first of all say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the megamazing LISA J!! Have a fabulous birthday honey and I hope you get lots of lovely treats today!
We have a new challenge at MAWTT this week. The Birthday Girl is our host this week and as its Earth Day tomorrow we thought we would reflect this in a our theme this week which is:
"Recycle"
We are sponsored this week by the fabby Ladybug Crafts Ink and Kerry is offering the winner one stamp of their choice.
So onto my project. I had a box which contained a gift card and I kept it with the aim of altering at some point, so I finally got around to doing it! So this is what it looked like when I started:
I then covered the whole thing with Kraft card and inked up
the edges:
And it finally turned out like this:I hope you like it. Please go along to the challenge blog and check out all the other DT projects which are fab!
Also don't forget the blog hop to celebrate the new releases at LCI next Tuesday. Grab the banner from my side bar.
I would like to enter into the following challenges this week:
- Creative Card Crew - Recycle Something;
- I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes;
- Scrapbook Sisters - Buttons;
- Top Tip Tuesday - Open Challenge;
- Lexi's Creations - Anything but a Card;
