Summer Fun at LCI

Hi All

 I hope you are all well and enjoying your week so far.  I am a little late posting this today, so I apologise to my Ladybug Teamies!   We have a brand new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this month our theme is:

"Summer Fun"

We are running our challenges over a month during the summer so plenty of time to enter!  And such an easy challenge as well!  Did you enjoy the blog hop last month?  I hope you did.  Please pop over to the challenge blog to see if you were a winner!

So onto my card:

I immediately went to my Flip Flop stamp from the Shoes n' Bags collection which you can get here.  I haven't used this for a while but it is such a fun image! And I love the sentiments that come with it.  I teamed it up with some fab paper from Echo Park called Paradise Beach.  Perfect!

I hope you like it and can take part this month.  Please hop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the inspiration from the gorgeous Ladybugs.

Before I go I want to remind you about the fabulous sale that Kerry has going on at the moment.  All cling stamps are half price until the end of August.  Get over there now!!

OK.  That is it from me!  I will be back later in the week to announce the winner of my blog candy.

Take care and speak soon.

Summer at Elisabeth Bell's World!

Hi All!

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the week!  Its been gorgeous in London this week, hot, hot in the City!

There is definately excitement building as we count down the days to the Olympics, there are lots of people around in London, but then there always is!  I saw the Olympic torch relay on Monday morning which passed by the bottom of my road.  I may pop out and see it again tomorrow as well as it comes through Chelsea.  Its got me all excited!

Anyway, enough waffling!  The reason I am here today is for another challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World.  Our theme this month is:

"Summer Scene (with ribbon and lace)"

I have used one of my gorgeous Whimsy Stamps and she is called Picked Sweet.

I love her!  I wanted to use lots of summer colours so went for yellows/oranges.  The ribbon is my gorgeous lace ribbon from my stash.  I dug out my loopy bloom die from MFT using gorgeous felt from Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I added some cute little butterflies and the swirl is from Doo Hickey.  Oh, and the paper is Echo Park Hello Summer!

Pop on over to the main challenge blog to see  all the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the DT!

This is my final project as part of my GDT term with the Digi Bells. I loved working with the beautiful images, thank you so much for having me ladies!

Blog Candy!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all well, almost the weekend!

I have been feeling very guilty recently that I haven't had any time to come and visit you all.  You all still visit and leave comments for me even though I don't get a chance to come and visit you.  I am making an extra effort to get caught up very soon.

However I thought I would offer some blog candy just to say thank you to all of you.  I love your comments and friendships and would be lost without you all!

Here is my candy:

I thought a gift voucher would be nice as you can pick something you really want!  And Elaine has some fabulous crafty bits at Quixotic Paperie!

So, you need to be a follower, and just leave a comment below to be in with a chance to win.  I will leave the candy open until Friday 27 July and will announce the winner over that weekend.

Have a great weekend!

Crafty Sentiments - Christmas New Release Preview!

Well what a long-winded title!  I wish I could think of those snappy one-liners!

Anyway, good morning, I hope you are all well!

The gorgeous Jo from Crafty Sentiments emailed me a couple of weeks ago to ask if I would take part in their Christmas previews, showcasing their brand new Christmas stamps.  Of course I said yes!

Today we are showcasing "Candies and Bauble" and here is my card:

It didn't really come out the way I saw it in my head!  But isn't she fabulous!  Love her gorgeous long hair, and she is a little bit cheeky as well!!

I used a mixture of my copics and prisma pencils and I paper pieced the bauble (which is the bit that hasn't come out as I saw it in my head!) The paper is from MME 12 Days of Christmas (love this set) and the die is Memory Box Frosty Border.  The gorgeous ribbon is from SU.

Pop over to the Crafty Sentiments blog to check out all the details and see the rest of the previews from the Design Team!

Ladybug Crafts Ink - Blog Hop and New Release!

Good Morning!

Big day today for all you Ladybug Crafts Ink fans.  We have a brand new release, a blog hop to celebrate with lots of fabulous prizes and a brand new challenge!

OK, first things first.  The brand new challenge today is:

"Christmas in July"

So if you would like to just join in with the challenge this time then you can do just that.  This challenge obviously ties in with our brand new release which is called "Christmas Delights".  These are all in digi and can be purchased now from the Ladybug Crafts Ink shop

So onto the hop.  You should have arrived here from the gorgeous Susan, who is our brand new Ladybug so do go and give her some Ladybug love!   If you are a little lost head back to the LCI challenge blog and start there.

Here is my project:

 This image was made for me really!  Its called "Christmas Shoe Tree Delight".  I wanted to make something other than a card and seeing as I have just received my new Cricut machine I decided to make a little gift bag using one of the images from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
The paper was free from a magazine a while ago, I added lots of glamour dust, some pretty ribbon and a little bag charm. I thought I had a shoe one but couldn't find it!  I hope you like it.

So onto the rules of the Hop:

1.  Leave a comment on each of the DT blogs as you hop;
2.  Each DT will have a letter for you to collect, please collect all the letters and then email the word you find to lcichallengeblog@aol.com;
3.  Leave a comment on the challenge blog letting us know what image you like best;
4. Display our badge in the sidebar to spread the word;

The winner of the hop will receive all 6 of the brand new images and 5 will receive 2 images.
My letter that you need to collect is I.

Right, you now need to hop on over to the super talented Julie.  Have fun!
