Good Morning Everyone!

Well I am back from my trip to Istanbul.  We had a great time, its a fabulous city with a great mix of old and new.  And great shopping in the Grand Bazaar!  Will post some photos soon!

Onto today’s business which is a new challenge over at Moving Along With The Times.  Before I get to that I just wanted to wish our fabulous Hazel a Happy Birthday!!  Have a great day hon!  Do pop over and give her lots of birthday love!

So onto this week's challenge.  My gorgeous buddy Laurie is our hostess this week and the theme is:

“Cool Britannia”
(Red, White and Blue)

There is certainly plenty of red, white and blue around at the moment!  Have you all got plans for the Jubilee weekend?!   Here is my card:

We are sponsored by the fabulous Anne at Digi My World

and we are all using images from her “England” set which you can get here.  I have had these images for a while and have been dying to use them!  I teamed her up with my papers from Papermania – Portobello Road.  I added some buttons from the same set which are so cute and added bunting made using my die-namics banner day die. It’s the first time I have coloured black hair, I like it but I need some more C colours in my Copics!

OK, now you need to hop over to the challenge blog to see more inspiration from the design team.  I hope you have fun with the challenge this week!  I will be catching up with you all over the weekend!

Digi Bells GDT

Hi Everyone!

Another scheduled post from me!  I hope you have had a great weekend!

I am back today as Guest Designer for the Digi Bells!  Today I thought I would use “I Love You This Much” which you can get from the Elisabeth Bell digi gallery.  Here she is:

She is another favourite!  I had fun making this card, although I do realise that the ribbon is too high!  It was stuck solid so I couldn’t move it down which is a little annoying!  The gorgeous papers compliment the gorgeous image perfectly!  The papers are from MME – Miss Caroline – Dolled Up.  The sentiment is from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

I hope you like her, let me know what you think!  And do pop over to the Digi Bells blog, you can still join in with the blog hop with a chance to win the new digi image!  Click here to get started!

Enjoy your evening and take care!

No Birthdays at MAWTT

Thank goodness its Thursday!!
Last day in the office today before my trip to Istanbul tomorrow!  I have some posts scheduled for while I am away so I won’t be gone for long!

So onto today’s business which is a brand new challenge at Moving Along With TheTimes!  Our hostess this week is the gorgeous Kim and the theme is:

“Anything But Birthday”
(so new home, anniversary, wedding, etc)

Our sponsor this week is

Please see the main challenge blog for all the details.  Here is my card:

I was getting a bit stretched for time so I decided to use one of the LOTV pre-coloured squares for my card.  They are so lovely and so handy for when you need a card quickly.  I went for a wedding card as I know I will be needing a couple over the next few months.

I teamed the image up with some papers from MME – Miss Caroline – Fiddlesticks.  I have also used some of my new Mulberry Flowers which I bought from the Hobby House.  I think I need some tips from my gorgeous friend Laurie on flower arranging!  But I do love the colours together.  The tiny sentiment is from Stamping Up, and then just some lace and pearls.

I hope you like it.  Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the inspiration from the DT.  I am sorry I won’t be able to comment much the next week but I will try and check in every now and then!

Take care and speak soon

“Things With Wings”

I love this challenge, it gives me a chance to use Ruby Fairy who I love! Here is my card:

I love Ruby Fairy, this image is called Tulip Ruby and you can get her here.  Now if I did this card again I would have the Memory Box border going straight up and down rather than across the card.  But it was well stuck down when I thought about it so too late to do anything!  The papers are from First Edition – Spring Drop, and I just added my grass die from Die-namics.

Pop on over to the challenge blog to check out the rest of the talented Design Team creations.  Looking forward to seeing all your creations!

Hi Everyone!

Well I am very excited today!  I am taking part in my first Blog Hop with the Digi Bells!  The blog hop is to celebrate the release of a brand new digi image from the fabulous Elisabeth Bell!  The new image is called Little Lamb and you can get her from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection here.

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Penni, if you are lost you can pop back to the DigiBells blog and start there!  Here is my card:

Isn't she gorgeous and so lovely to colour in!  I used some of the pretty papers from Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck - Tea for Two pad.  I thought the colours suited the image so well! I added some flowers using my Cheery Lynn Miniature Rose die and the corner die is from Memory Box. The ribbon is from Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I added some pearls and the little sentiment is from Stamping Up.  Let me know what you think!

So you now need to hop on over to the gorgeous Wendy to see her wonderful creation!

So for a chance to win the image you need to leave a comment on each blog as you hop round and the winner will be chosen at random which will be announced on the Digi Bells blog on 2 June.

For another chance to win you can take part in the challenge where the theme is
"Stitching - Real or Faux"

Keeping It Real at MAWTT

Happy Thursday Everyone!

I hope you are well and enjoying your week.  I am back today with a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.  Our fabulous Judith is our hostess this week and the challenge is:

"Keep It Real"
(No fantasy figures or non-living things)

We are sponsored this week by the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts.  Pop over to the main challenge blog to see all the details of the prize.  So here is my card:

I used one of the pre-coloured images from Wee Stamps.  This one is called Wee Bunnies and you can get it from The Hobby House.  Now I know that Bunnies wearing ties isn't exactly keeping it real (unless you are taking some very strong drugs!) but my thinking was that Bunnies are living things, as are flowers, so I thought it would be ok for the challenge!  The papers are Spring Drops from First Edition and I have used my Die-namics mini rolled roses die with some luscious felt from Ladybug CraftsInk.  The sentiment is also from Ladybug Crafts.

I hope you like it.  Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the gorgeous inspiration of the Design Team.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Sun Kissed!

Hi Everyone!

Well we have had a very strange sighting here the last couple of days.  A great big orange ball has been seen in the sky, I believe its called the sun and has actually stuck around for a bit!!  Lets hope it lasts!  I hope your weekend has been going well.

I want to share a card I made yesterday using one of the new Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps images.  She is called Sun Kissed which I bought from Bunny Zoe in the UK here

She is so pretty!  I teamed her up with my new paper pad from Echo Park called Hello Summer which again I bought from Bunny Zoe here. I love all the colours in this new pack.  I used my Martha Stewart border punch and added a little flower ribbon down the side and then just punched some small flowers and added those tumbling down the card.  To finish off I added some glamour dust and gems.

I will be back with another Elisabeth Bell image on Friday which is very exciting as its a new digi release and we are having a blog hop on the Digi Bells blog!  My first as Guest Designer!

OK, I am off to do a bit of colouring!  Enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi All!

I hope your week is going well.  The weather has been so miserable, will we ever see the sun again!!

We have a brand new challenge at Moving Along With The Times today and our gorgeous Leesa is our hostess!  The theme is:

"Nautical"

I did have a bit of ponder about what I would do for this challenge, I couldn't think of anything interesting!  Then I remembered I had the " Siren of Pearls" and Clam Shell images from Make it Crafty so I thought I would have a go colouring these up.  Here is my card:

I have been wanting to try and do pink hair for AGES!  So I thought she would be perfect to try on!  I think I need a bit more practice!  Its not as glossy looking as I would have hoped but I think its ok for a first shot!  I just used some of my Echo Park Splash papers with some ribbon from my stash. I added some pearls and the border punch is from EK Success.

We are sponsored this week by Sir Stampalot who have some fabulous stash in their store.  Please click below to go and check it out!

Pop over to the challenge blog to find out more details of the prize this week and also to see the rest of the gorgeous DT's work.
