Distressing at Wags 'n Whiskers

I'm late!  I should have posted this earlier.  Not sure where my brain is sometimes!

We have a brand new challenge over at Wags 'n Whiskers today.  Our theme this time is:

"Distressing"

I haven't done a distressed card for a while but I should do more, I enjoyed making this one! Not sure if it is really distressed, I get anxiety attacks if things aren't completely straight and level!  Anyway, see what you think!

The image is so sweet!  She is called Tiny Dancer which you can get here in rubber and here in digi.  I love the pretty colours in this and I have added some glamour dust to her little dress!  The paper is from Authentique - Delightful.  This the first time I have used mulberry flowers as well!  I bought these from the Hobby House here and I will be buying a few more colours I think!

I hope you can join in with us this week.  Do pop over to the challenge blog to see some more inspiration from the fabulous DT.

OK, thats it from me!  Have a great evening!

Just for You

Hi All

I hope you are all well. I haven't had much chance to get around to everyone recently but I am looking and hope to catch up with you all over the weekend.  I coloured up some images last weekend and put together this card with one of them:

I used one my gorgeous Elizabeth Bell for SCACD images and she is called Susan which you can get from Quixotic Paperie.  She didn't come out quite as I imagined, not sure about the colours!  The paper is from Cosmo Cricket - Mini Deck - Tea for Two.  I have used my mini rolled rose die-namics die with some super soft felt from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

I made up this card for the Digi Bells GDT call they have at the moment.

That was a super quick one from me!
See you again soon for the new Wags 'n Whiskers challenge!

MAWTT - Garden/Flowers

Well, not sure what is going on with the weather here in the UK but it gives a whole new meaning to the term April Showers!  Unbelievable amount of rain yesterday!

But, the rain is good for the garden apparently, which leads me neatly into our brand new challenge at MAWTT (did you like the smooth link into the challenge there!)

Our gorgeous Mau is hosting her first challenge at MAWTT today so I hope you can join in this week to show her some support!  She has come up with the great challenge of:

We are sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps who are offering the winner $10 to spend in store.

MAWTT DT - Shabby Chic and/or Vintage

Hi All!

Hope your week is going well.  I could get used to these short weeks!

Thursday means another challenge at Moving Along With The Times and our gorgeous Sue is our hostess this week!  The theme is:

"Shabby Chic and/or Vintage"

I struggled a bit with this one but eventually came up with this:

The cute image is from Tickled Pink and she is called 20's Evie from the Lil Fashionette range. Isn't she gorgeous!  The papers were free with a magazine which I thought had a vintage kind of feel to it.  I inked up the edges with some Tim Holtz Antique Linen and added the lace and the flower ribbon.

We are sponsored this week by Crafty Emma's Store and the winner will received £10 to spend in store.  Cool!

Please do go along to the challenge blog to see the rest of the gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team.  Have a great day!

Hi All,

Here is my card:

I love the colours in this card, so fresh.  I have used Daffy Pip again which you can get from Funky Kits here.  I am not happy with my colouring on this, (just noticed some areas which aren't quite right but I won't point them out to you!) Before I go I just want to mention that Kerry at Ladybug Crafts Ink is having a sale. Woo Hoo!!  Calorie free treats over Easter with half price on all stamps!!  Click the image below to check it out:

Well I had better get a move on as I haven't done a thing yet this morning.  I was up until 2am colouring in!  I have a party to get ready for later and it will take me a good few hours to make myself presentable!!
