Good Afternoon!
Well where did the sun go?! Its been cold and rainy here today. Luckily I haven't had to go out in it! I haven't really been in a crafty mood this weekend, I hate it when that happens. I did start sorting out my craft room though and managed to create some more space, lots of bits went into the garage which I am going to have to sort out at some point! Once I had done that I made myself sit down and to try and create something.
Whilst I was in Yorkshire last month we visited Lisa's local craft shop and they had some calendars on show which had been made in one of their workshops. So I decided to have a go at making one of those (even though we are already in March!)
Here is my project:
I used the Spring Bouquet collection again from Cupcake Craftroom which you can get here. Please pop along to the challenge blog here to check out our latest challenge which is "Spring Bouquet".
The letters were cut by the lovely Lisa on her Cricut when we were having a play one evening! On reflection I should have left them white as the colour blends in with the background too much. Although in real life the letters do stand out a bit more than in the photo! The flowers are both Cheery Lynn dies which are miniature rose and the bigger one is my new favourite Cuties 4. It is so dimensional, I also used the Cheery Lynn olive branches for the leaves.
It does look quite pretty in real life!
That's it from me for now. Don't forget to enter my blog candy here.
Take care and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Love
