The Digi Queens have arrived!!!

Paper Nest Dolls Inspiration

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope your weekend went well.  Typical rainy weather here in the UK for the bank holiday!  It literally didn't stop all day!!

The Paper Nest Dolls are sponsoring the challenge over at Copic Marker Norge this month, the theme is Birthday.  Christine has created a couple of gorgeous images for this!  I have used "Birthday Cake Owen"

I coloured him with copics and I have used papers from Maja Designs - Coffee in the Arbour.  The bunting is a die from Joanna Sheen.  The ribbon is from my stash and I just added a pearl string and pearls from the Hobby House.  Oh and the sentiment is from LOTV - Boy Oh Boy set.  

I hope you can join in with the challenge, of course you need to use copics and follow the theme of birthday!  So quite an easy one!

Challenging Hair!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all well!  I wanted to share something today that I made for the Kit and Clowder Fun Hair Combo challenge!  I was so inspired by Amanda's gorgeous tag that she did I felt the need to try it myself!  

The image is from The East Wind called Lucy Loo Bookaholic.  I have to say it was a real challenge to do this and half way through wondered why I had started!  Here is my tag:

Its not perfect but I am pleased that I did challenge myself.  The paper is from LOTV Timeless Victorian (so pretty!) and all the embellishments are from the Hobby House including Lace Ribbon; Pearl Swirls; Mulberry Roses and Pearl String.  The sentiment is also from LOTV and is from the Tags 24 set.

The Paper Nest Dolls - Sleigh Full of Gifts Emma!

Hi Everyone!

Yippee, the weekend is finally here!  And only two and half weeks until my holiday!! 

I am here for my card for The Paper Nest Dolls and I am using a new release today called "Sleigh Full of Gifts Emma"  who is available in store now under the new release section. 

Here is my card:

She is coloured with Copics and I have used a great new paper pad from First Edition called Nordic Christmas which is available from the Hobby House.  The charm, ribbon and gems are also from the Hobby House.  The die is Pretty Poinsettia from La La Land.

Vintage at MAWTT

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all well and enjoying your week.  Its been a bit mixed weather here!  Not sure whether it wants to be sunny or rain!  We were lucky over the weekend though with my nephew, it stayed sunny when it needed to and we had a lovely time!!  

I am back this morning with a card for our new challenge over at Moving Along With the Times.  Our fabby hostess is Hazel (although she is not so fabby today for picking Vintage!!!)  

I did have trouble with this.  In the end I found an image within the new Maja Designs paper pad called Vintage Frost Basics, which I LOVE by the way!  Here is the card:

I am sorry it is such a poor excuse for a vintage card!  As I said the image is from Vintage Frost Basics as is all the paper.  Its a wonderful paper pad.  I just added some of my precious SU ribbon and added a snowflake charm and pearls from the Hobby House.  The sentiment is from LOTV Christmas Wishes set 75.

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!  I am only at work until tomorrow lunchtime and then taking a couple of days off to look after my nephew.  He is coming to stay with us to give his mum a break over the summer holidays!  Its typical though as we have loads of things planned and the weather is not looking great at the moment :-(  !  

Anyway!  I am actually here today as it is my turn to show some inspiration using another image from the Paper Nest Dolls.  My card is using Ellie with Sign who is available in the store now.  

She is coloured with copics and I have used papers from LOTV - Timeless Victorian.  The corner dies are from La La Land Filigree Corner and the embellishments are from the Hobby House.

Colouring Weekend!

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend.  I spent the time colouring up some images, sitting in the sun and doing some walking!  It was lovely and relaxed!  

One of the images I coloured up was a Simply Betty image called May Flowers which I have been wanting to do for some time.  Here she is:

I am not sure about the lace bow but it was all stuck down!!  I coloured her with copics and I decoupaged some of the flowers so it looks quite 3D in real life.  The papers are from LOTV - Timesless Victorian and the rest of the embellishments are mostly from my stash apart from the lace ribbon and rhinestone sparkler which are from the Hobby House.  I really love this image and enjoyed working with her!

I am entering this card into the Kit and Clowder FB sketch challenge.

New Release at Paper Nest Dolls!

Good Morning All!

Exciting times over at the Paper Nest Dolls!  We have a brand new release which is called  the Zodiac Collection!  Do please check out the main blog for lots of inspiration using all the new images.  There are also prizes to be won so make sure you leave comments there and also on the DT blog where a mystery prize will be hidden!  

 I have used Zodiac Sagittarius which you can find here. 

I decided to do a cross over card today, I've not tried these before:

I used the pull out piece to describe some characteristics of this star sign.  I enjoyed making this style card and I think I will use it quite a few times more!  I coloured her up with copics and the papers are from LOTV called Promises from NitWit Collection.  All the embellishments are from the Hobby House and the ribbon was just from my stash.  

All the images will be so handy for those special birthdays!  They are all available in the store now.
