Christmas Tin

Good Morning Everyone

Its a lovely sunny, blue sky this morning as I sit and look out my window.  Always makes you feel better!  Well after a very stressful week we finally exchanged contracts on the house last night.  I can now start to get excited about the new house!

I wanted to share a project I made for the Hobby House show on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago.  (It was actually featured on the show!!)  My other half was given a tin of handmade cookies for his birthday and I saved the tin they came in and altered it into a Christmas tin for chocolates or gifts.  

It was very tricky to photograph but you get the idea!  The chocolates went in afterwards!  

The papers are Echo Park - Merry Christmas collection.  The dies are Doo Hickey's Leaf and Swirl and my Grand Nesties Scalloped Circles.  The rest of the products used are from the Hobby House and are listed below:

Love Me Do

Well thank god the weekend is here!  Friday's are my favourite day of the week!  I am just about to pop out for some wine and nice food but thought I would post a card before I go!

As you know I am struggling with time at the moment but made this card up the other week using another of the Hobby House pre-coloured images.  Here is my card:

The images is from a sheet called Love Me Do from Wee Stamps and I have also used Hobby House papers called Spring Hearts and Spring Damask.  I have used the last of my die cut hearts that my lovely blogging friend Lisa sent me, I need some more Lisa!!!  Have added some mulberry flowers, pearl swirls and ribbon, all from the Hobby House.  The tiny tag is from Stamping Up, still one of my favourites!

Right I had better get my lippy on and head out!

I survived the move!

Good Evening Everyone!

Just thought I would check in quickly to let you know that I survived the move on Friday and I am now pretty much set up in my new "interim" home! It was a very long, exhausting and emotional day on Friday but got everything to my new place ok.  I didn't sleep much that night and was up at 6am on Saturday to start unpacking my bits.  A lot of my stuff is staying in the garage until my final move.  However, I have got a brand new craft room set up which was finished yesterday!  Its lovely, and overlooks the garden and has the afternoon and evening sun!   I want to thank "Guesty" who has done everything he can to make me feel welcome and happy!  

So anyway, I thought I would make a quick card in my new room!  Because I haven't had a lot of time I used a pre-coloured image from the Hobby House.  Here is my card:

All have of this card has been made using the Hobby House Wee Card Making Kit (which was featured on Create & Craft).  The image is Spring Bringer from Sylvia Zet, Wee Stamps.  So pretty and I added lots of glamour dust.  The papers are Spring Hearts and Spring Damask which can be bought separately.  I added some gorgeous pearl swirls and pearl charm which I bought at the Ally Pally show and some mulberry flowers to finish.  As I say, everything apart from the pearl charm is from the kit!  Gorgeous don't you think!  

Right that is all I have time for now but I normal service will be resumed this week, thank goodness!

Hi Everyone!

Hope your weekend went well.  I managed to get to the craft show at Alexandra Palace on Sunday with mum.  We had a good old catch up and spent some cash, great fun!  It made a change to get out of the house and not doing any packing! 

So today I am here for my post for the Digi Bells. I have used another digi image by Elizabeth Bell and this little lovely is called Apple Bake.  Here is my card:

Because I haven't had a lot of time recently I have used another pre-coloured image.  This is from the Hobby House who are now doing Elisabeth Bell images.  This is from a sheet called Baking with Grandma.  The paper is from Lilybee Design called Double Dutch. I have used my new Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax and added some pearls and mulberry flowers.  I don't think the mulberry flowers really add anything to this card but it was too late to take them off!

Its been a while!

Good Afternoon All!

Well its been a while, am very sorry I haven't been around to see you all.  

I am in the process of selling my flat and have been waiting all week to exchange.  Its still not happened and I have been getting a little stressed!  I have spent most of the last few weekends sorting through all my stuff, packing and doing many trips to the tip!  

So all of this has meant no time in the craft room and when I do, Mr Mojo just seems to have disappeared, maybe he is in one of those boxes I have packed up!  

I was determined to post something today.  I bought a kit from the Hobby House last week and decided to make a card from these elements, you can buy the kit here.  They are so pretty!

The image is pre-coloured and is from Sylvia Zet, from a sheet at the Hobby House called Love Me Do.  The paper is also from Hobby House and is called Love Me Damask and Love Me Spot. I recently bought a dress exactly like the spotty paper!  All the other elements apart from the ribbon is also from the kit (I love the pearl ribbon!)  I added some glamour dust and pearls. 

That is all from me today.  I do have some DT posts for next week so I won't be gone for too long this time!  Will keep you posted on my move!

Good Afternoon Everyone

I hope your weekend is going well. I am feeling depressed as its my first day back to work tomorrow after my holiday :-(  I had a wonderful time and the weather was a LOT warmer than it is here!!  Can you believe this weather??!!  

Anyway, not going to think about that. I am going to snuggle up warm and watch a movie this afternoon.  Before I do that I wanted to share a card I made earlier using a pre-coloured image from the Hobby House:

She is of course an image from Wee Stamps called Hopeful and she is from a set of pre-coloured images from Hobby House here.  I have had these a while and really love the colour combination.  I have used my favourite of all time papers - Maja Designs and this set is Vintage Summer Basics.  I have used my new memory box precious hearts die.  The flowers and pearl swirls are also from the Hobby House.  There are a few more flowers on this than I would normally use, do you think they look ok?!

OK that's it for me today.  Going to settle down to watch my movie, and then roast beef dinner later!! YUMMY!!!  May also look at hotels to book for my next holiday!!
