Daydreaming

Hi All,

I wanted to share a card today that I made over the weekend for the Lili's Little Fairies challenge this week which is Lavender and Lace.  I wanted to use some of the new images I have been buying recently and this one is called Summer Daydream:

I really like this colour scheme and was quite pleased with how it turned out.  The papers are from Prima Sweet Fairy which I haven't used for a while!  The felt and lace ribbon are from Ladybug Crafts Ink, Kerry's half price sale on all stamps is still going on for a few more days so please go along and check them out as well.

Where on earth has the weekend got to, I can't believe its Sunday evening.  I haven't really had a very productive day but hey ho, some days are like that! 

I have made a card today for the Lili's Little Fairies challenge and this week they want us to use our favourite LOTV stamp.  It was a little tricky to pick one as they are all lovely but there is one that I do love to use, here she is:

I love her attitude and style!  She is looks so cool in her dress and boots, and I love her tiara!  She is called Its My Party and you can get her here.  I teamed her with MME Sixy By Six Honey Cake, added some glitter and used my fabby Loopy Bloom die again! 

Well enjoy the rest of your evening.  I am just going to flop in front of the TV!  Last Sherlock tonight which I am looking forward to!

The Little Things

Hi Everyone,

I hope your weekend is going well.  I've just been pottering around today, may take a drive out to the coast tomorrow, if the weather isn't too bad!

I want to try and make cards this year that aren't just DT ones.  One of the challenges I want to start entering is the new Lili's Little Fairies.  I've got a few LOTV images which I just don't use so thought entering the challenge each week would be a good way of using them!  Their challenge this week is New Beginnings.  Here is my card:

I have made an engagement card using "The Little Things", the sentiment is also from LOTV.  I teamed up with the new MME Love Me paper pack and some Bazzill Bling.  I really love the pink and grey colour combination.  I distressed the edges and added some lace ribbon. 

I followed the great sketch at Sketch Saturday this week.

Faffing Around!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Have you ever had one of those weekends where all you do is faff around and not actually get anything done?  That has been my weekend.  I wouldn't mind but I have been waking up early so have had plenty of time to catch up on bits and pieces but just haven't had the inclination to do anything.  Just ended up sitting around doing nothing for most of the time!  I tried to catch up on some DT work but just sat at my desk doing nothing!  

The card I am sharing today I did on Friday evening.  I wanted to use another one of my new LOTV images so I used their sketch for their challenge this week.  

This looked so much better in my head and really don't like this very much, in fact I did consider not posting it!  The background paper is just too busy, in my head I thought it looked like a garden and that it would create a nice scene!  The image is Fairies on Tiptoe and the paper is from MME So Sophie paper pack. There is lots of glitter on her wings but you can't really tell from the photo!  Anyway, let me know what you think!

Warm and Cozy

Hi Everyone

Well another weekend has gone by in a flash.  I haven't got a great week coming up so I am very unhappy the weekend is over already!  Still I had a nice one and the weather wasn't too bad!! 

I caught up on some DT projects this weekend but I did have time to make a card "just because"!  I am determined to use more of my LOTV stamps and enter their challenge every week.  So here is my entry for this week:

I am not sure I like the layout of this and I don't like the blue I used for the ice, but apart from that I like the image and the colours!!  The papers are from a Kanban set which my mum gave me, thanks mum!  The LOTV image is called Skating Along. You can't see from the photo but there is a ton of glamour dust on her outfit and the ice!!  The snowflakes are made from my Die-namics die from Dies to Die For. 

I also want to remind you of the Stamp of the Month offer at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  You have until the end of October to get this lovely lady at half price. 

Anyway I had better get on.  I have a few things to do before SCD and X Factor comes on!  And then Downton Abbey which I can't wait for!

Relaxing Saturday!

Hi Everyone!

How is your weekend going?  I have been doing the usual things, did some shopping this morning, washed the car (which is pretty unusual for me, the rain is usually my car wash!).  Then I spent some time in my craft room this afternoon. I am going to share one of the cards here.

I had some new stamps from LOTV for my birthday last month and I wanted to ink some of them up!  Here is what I did today:

Sorry the quality of the photos!  I followed the sketch at Sketch Saturday which has lots of lovely layers.  The image is Pretty Poinsettia which you can get here.  I used paper from the North Country pack from Prima which I love.  I wanted to enter into the LOTV challenge this week which is Let It Snow so I thought this image was perfect and added the felt snowflakes, glamour dust and gems to finish it off.
