Back to work today, so the holidays are well and truly over! I do have some exciting news though to kick off the year. I was Guest Designer for the lovely Ladybugs back in November which was fantastic fun. Well, the fabulous Kerry asked me to join the team permanently!! How fabulous is that! I am now a fully fledged permanent member of the Design Team! WOO HOO!! Thanks ladies for the lovely warm welcome back and I am looking forward to the year ahead working with you all.
So as today is Tuesday there is a fab new challenge over on the Ladybug Challenge Blog and the theme today is:
"Anything Goes"
Yep, nice and easy to get you back into the swing of things. AND, you can use any image this week to be in with a chance to win. This is my project.
I apologise for the rubbish photos. The light wasn't great. It looks much better in real life!
I used the fabulous Daydreaming Ruby, she is so lovely to work with. I have made a plaque using Kaisercraft French Plaque. I painted this with white eco-green paint. I then covered with Kaisercraft Spirograph DP which is just fabulous, and covered the letters with the same paper, the flowers are also made with the paper and glittered. I think the paper really suits Ruby. I added some pearls in the corner to give some interest and used my new fabulous ribbon in the other corner to lift the colours. I hope you like it, something a bit different! Please do go and have a look at the other DT for their fabulous projects.
But thats not all!! Ladybug Crafts Ink will be releasing some fabulous new stamps next week and to celebrate this there will be a blog hop.
Please grab the banner below and display on your blog so you can be in with a chance to win a prize. So exciting!!!
I am entering into the following challenge:
- Catch the Bug January Challenge - Anything Goes;
- I Did It Creations Challenge - Favourite Technique (altering items (love all that painting and distressing!));
- Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes;
- I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes (promarkers used on Ruby).
Well I think thats it from me. I hope you enjoy looking at the other DT projects. And don't forget to grab the blog hop banner!
